But you'd get to burn yaniv at the stake. It's people like Yaniv that make me happy I live in the current year. Couple hundred years ago I'd be stuck laughing at some random person for being impious or something.

Right time and place in history we could be having ourselves an auto-da-fé.It's people like Yaniv that make me happy I live in the current year. Couple hundred years ago I'd be stuck laughing at some random person for being impious or something.
Speculation, but Ogre "hates" Yaniv only insofar as it is politically convenient and beneficial to do so. He defended Yaniv for months in the face of mounting evidence of his fuckery and only decried him when the winds started blowing in the other direction. Recently Ogre has tweeted out support for Yaniv again in reference to his disabled status (lol autism) and the fact that people took pictures of him on public transit.can someone bring me up to speed as to why ogre hates yaniv now?

I'm praying we get a Lifetime movie outta this. This court drama has everything!Yaniv is a liability to Troons everywhere, and we should be praying for his activism to continue.

Edit to avoid double posting in response to the above post.
sikhism is not a denomination of Islam, it's a completely separate religion and has no historical links to Islam. It's probably closer to Hinduism than any of the other major religions.

Ogre will say anything to stay in the good graces of 50.1% of his constituents, up to and including defending a pedophile.
Sikhs on Muslims said:Chaupa Singh Rahit Nama, studied and translated by McLeod (1987), illustrates explicitly this anti-muslim theme grounded in the 18thcentury tense context, through the following list of prohibitions:
Never associate with a Muslim nor trust his word.
Never drink water from a Muslim’s hands, never eat his food,
And never sleep in his company.
Do not be influenced by anything which a Muslim may say,
Never touch a Muslim woman.
Never eat meat from animals killed according to Muslim rites (…)
Sikhs occupy an interesting place in the oppressed-peoples landscape in Canada. Canada has the largest Sikh population outside of the Punjab. They are technically a minority, but one that has been very successful. Their community is large and prosperous (especially in BC). They own lots of property and businesses, and even have organized crime gangs. There are tons of turbaned Sikhs in the Parliament. One of them is the Defense Minister, and one is a leader of one of the left-wing political parties.
(There's also stuff about Sikh community infighting, radical Sikhs, terrorism and the Air India bombing, and other layers of complexity I don't know enough about to explain.)
So yeah, Sikhs are a minority but not as many oppression points as Muslims or troons. Probably a bit analogous to the American/European Jewish community. Sometimes they are an attacked minority subject to racism. Sometimes they're your asshole landlord.
Edit to add: Also, most Sikhs reeaaaally hate Muslims. I think that's who they carry the daggers for.
Perverts like Yaniv are a dime a dozen. It is perfectly reasonable that a woman, working alone in a private residence, would not feel safe doing a genital wax on a belligerent, entitled male customer. That's a very vulnerable position to be in. I can't see religion playing into this as much as taking reasonable precautions not to be raped by a sweaty incel in a prom dress.Indians, including Sikhs (and Arabs, and the majority of non-western cultures in the world) are pretty strict about keeping their daughters on lockdown, it's traditional that they live at home until getting married. It's super obvious that a Indian woman would be extremely reluctant to touch a man in that way. I don't necessarily consider this a religious issue, but I'm fine with it being used as a defense in the BCHRT.
To me, Yaniv wants to persecute anyone he can, and he particularly doesn't like immigrants. I question if he ever wanted to get waxed, his DMs to the waxers all seem incredibly leading, trying to get them in a "gotcha!" to bring to the BCHRT. One of the waxers even offered a refer Yaniv to someone was willing, but he did not care.

Not to be that person but given that this poor woman is Sikh (a.k.a. a "denomination" of Islam), that might give the woman some leverage in the eyes of socjus court. My cynical brain says "in LGBT v religion, LGBT will win every time", but given that she is of the patron oppressed religion of socjus, they might spare her (IIRC Sikhs are generally more of a peaceful, more progressive group, so they might just spit on her because she isn't forced to wear a burqa). If she was of a Christian sect or denom. she would've been told to "pay up already bigot."
EDIT: So my fried from work brain remembered it wrong and Sikh is not really related to Islam; I'll have to figure out which one I was thinking of on my own time. However, the point still stands.
It will also come down to trans v. skin color.
You would be laughing at someone tied up in one of those stocks things with a sign "FUCK" on it.
