But on the other hand; being illiterate generally fucks people over in actually getting a decent job, places an burden for whomever is living with them, and enables people to take advantage of them.

Turns out that American redneck stereotypes are real. And they also have an aversion to leaving their community.

Detroit is shit, unsurprisingly. On another note, roughly half of Detroit's workforce was recently considered to be illiterate, while Alabama is in 25% range.

This is one of the reasons why Muslims are at odds with the Western world.
