Oh lord, I finally had time to watch. It was so bad...so bad. Like an untalented high school kid did it for a drama class or something. I learned the biggest lesson of life-don’t drink the Dew! Puke.
The lazy fuck just left that house to mold and rot and turn into a crack den ten feet next to people who are probably too poor to move. And he has the audacity to say they should have called him? Like, did he go around and leave his number and say “call if there are problems”? Did he take any precautions-board it up, get a yard service monthly, anything for upkeep? No, he walked away leaving an abandoned house, yet he still blames neighbors and neighborhood kids for him leaving a house empty a decade. That’s so Boogie.
Of course an abandoned house attracts squatters and kids. Who doesn’t know that?
Why he didn’t call a real estate agent and sell as-is under market? I don’t know anything about the rural south but he could have given it to a church or something if a sale was impossible. He was just too lazy.
Now that Boogie got his footage, is he going to pay for a tear down so the neighbors don’t have to live next door to a hazard? One he knows has been set on fire at least once? Hell no. He’ll just let it continue. He’s stupid though, if somebody gets hurt they can sue him. At least in my state, he’d be liable even if they were trespassing and fell through the floor, or set a fire and a neighbors house burned down. He better look up the laws of his state if he plans to leave it. He may end up in a trailer on that property. .
I don’t believe Boogie’s mom was anything like he claims. She might have had a temper and smacked him a few times with whatever she had in her hand. Hardly abnormal for mother’s of the day. But I think it was in response to him being an asshole. Now this woman who did the best she could with a clearly over-dramatic, lazy, and self-centered son has to go down as the woman who beat Boogie up. Through his whole childhood, which is a lie. Not as the woman we love.
His brother and sister must hate him.
