I guess that's fair. I would never want them to stop making the 'this is shite' videos, because... fuck me, I love watching a good book get roasted. But I also feel like his 'MARVEL before SJW videos do well. I think his positive ones also do okay enough.

Wasn't me who proposed it but what was this image 2.0 talk? Creating another company or was image 2.0 in fact just crowdfunding? I hear Breitweiser is making his own company but rumor has it, it ain't gonna be CG affiliated.

I do think YaBoi and JSG actually do give credit where credit is due even in their roasts. "This comic is juvenile, SJW garbage, but look at this art right here, this is really good..." etc

Yeah they definitely do, don't get me wrong. But again it goes back to the whole, how do you make comics good again? When there's only four 'good review' videos for every ten bad ones. I mean, for sure it happens - I actually went in on Nick Spencer's Spider-Man and Chip Zdarsky's Daredevil because Yaboi pointed out they were good, and from what I was able to see through the video, looked interesting. But how many more series are out there that people are just too afraid, and limited in funds to go in on?

Now that I say it all outloud, it sounds weird. On one hand, I'm saying "I don't need them to tell me what's shit, because I can probably guess" and then as well say "It'd be nice if they told me what's good" yanno? I remember a time when I could pick up just about anything and there was a higher chance it'd be good, and maybe find one or two bad ones, and now it's the opposite - and I don't like wasting my money on shit I can't return if it's bad. I have a box of crap I need to get rid of now because it's really not worth it to be on my shelf right now.

I've never heard of Image 2.0, but what would the company be about? Fulfillment? For example: Say EVS wants to make Reignbro Brute, does he submit his idea to Image 2.0, ala Alterna? Hope they say "Yeah it looks good" and then what, they pay him? I can see how that'd be a lot easier as far as deadlines and fulfillment go, but then we're back to EVS having to propose his ideas to a company that then decides whether or not they think that book will sell. I think that's what the pros are trying to avoid, hence the crowdfunding. If they put out 'Super Frog beats the Werewolf' and no one likes it, then it doesn't get funded and doesn't get made.

As for Mitch, I want to love him so bad, I backed Red Rocket, but the guy isn't great at keeping us up to date, and I see him promoting some other upcoming thing? Is it wise for him to be thinking about starting a company when he's working on projects that I can only assume he's a little behind on?

Sorry dude, but crowdfunding isn't anything new and Comicsgate should stop acting like it reinvented the wheel. How long until Indiegogo goes full SJW? Anyone ever find out what happened to Rebel Yell and Simeti's campaigns? What is Comicsgate going to do then? Find another crowdfunding site then that one goes SJW then comicsgate gonna be platform nomads moving from crowdfund site to crowdfund site. Alternatives. No desire for them, comicsgate ain't changing a damn thing. Only thing it's good for is squeezing the green out of exceptional cash cows by pushing for drama clicks and superchats.

You're basically complaining that #CG hasn't built it's own government. Every step you've recommended has been infected by SJW thought policing including banks. Americans shouldn't have to rely on crypto currency to justify their livelihoods. So until the Justice Department swoops in and forces this deplatforming garbage to go to the Supreme Court, making do is what #cg is working with.

I hear ya, getting a little frustrated too. The comic looks really good, but the void of info is perplexing. Probably partly to do with the fact that he's not really CG, otherwise he'd appear somewhere on some platform to update people.

Of course if I was married to Betty B. I'd probably be having sex with her 3 hours a day, so that might have something to do with the lack of productivity.

I more got the impression that he thinks it's still 2003 and the Religious Right really is the dominant force in American culture. Not that uncommon of a view in my experience. Sometimes if you point it out they rationalize it as "Yeah, the right abandoned religion because it's too compassionate" which is a pretty weird argument in itself and one you can go in endless circles in.

What I find more deliciously ironic than anything is that people predicted what this book was gonna be about just by seeing that it was being published by nu-Vertigo. Wannabe edgy but actually stale and played out by at least 20 years.

This might also provide an interesting bit of evidence for Richard Meyer. In spite of Mr. Russel being named and shamed by hundreds of thousands of Christians, nobody directly interfered with his right to bring his product to market. He was not cut out of or denied the comic distribution network. Yes his deal with DC fell through, but nobody made any other publishers a “deal they couldn’t refuse”.
