I'm sorry, I feel like I'm the only one getting this vibe, but Vade is a spoiled middle class white person living in Texas and every time they bring up anything about race I want to punch their goddamned teeth out. Vade is the most infuriating little shit in that respect.

I mean, if "reverse racism" is supposed to mean "discrimination against white people", SJWs should deny the existence of "reverse racism" because white people simply cannot be discriminated against, because they are privileged.

How can you tell. I mean, I'm just going by what I know about Vade, which is that she is aggressively stupid, and she would be one of those people who believe that "reverse racism" is a thing.

The only thing that would support what you said is the fact that she put "reverse racism" in airquotes, but she does a lot of dumb shit.

I've noticed that Vade keeps getting more and more transparent about her attention-seeking behavior. When this thread was first started, Vade really didn't need to beg for attention because she had a small army of ass-patters who catered to her every need. As this thread gained traction, however, more and more evidence of Vade's corruption came to light and more people decided to speak out against her. This evidence, combined with Vade's flipping out about Kiwi Farms, caused a ton of her followers to finally get fed up with her and leave. She doesn't have much influence anymore, either, as she no longer mods any blogs other than her own.

So now, Vade only has a fraction of the support and influence that she used to have. She was used to attention just being handed to her, but now she has to work for it. The only problem is that Vade doesn't have any talents (drawing, writing, singing, creativity, etc) that she can use to get attention. She's not even a nice person so she can't get attention for that, either. So Vade has to resort to literally just asking for attention from her remaining followers. "Like if you read" was only a taste of what was to come. Now Vade can't even keep it in the tags, she point-blank begs her followers to send her asks because she needs attention.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

The explanation I heard was that, sociologically speaking, racism (and other -isms like sexism and classism) denote specific types of thought and action between specific groups with social power imbalances, all of which fall under the much larger umbrella of "prejudice." So "prejudice" can refer to any person or group being discriminatory or bigoted towards any other group, but for that same thing to be classed academically as an -ism, it has to involve a moderate-to-severe imbalance of societal influence between the groups in question. This keeps statistical analyses of specific phenomenon in sociology from being contaminated by data that doesn't apply to the cases and trends that they're studying.

TL;DR - When (smart) people say "you can't be 'racist' against white people," they don't mean that it's impossible to discriminate against a white person, because you totally can. What they mean is that the term 'racism,' as used in sociology, doesn't apply to the social interaction in question, so stop trying to cock up their line graph, jesus fuck, this science is soft enough as it is!

Alyssa puts it in quotes because, as a SJW, she believes all white people (except for her of course) deserve to be discriminated against. She doesn't believe reverse racism exists because she believes it's not racism if it's acceptable (which to a SJW it is).
