X-posting from the Shipping Thread! Take a look at this:
A whole tag dedicated to Sheith shippers celebrating the epsiode where Keith had to fight the infamous Shiro clone and told him "I love you" while trying to deal with him. I don't blame Sheith fans for seeing it as fodder for their ship at all, but now that the ship has been sunk for almost half a year, having them "celebrate" the anniversary of that episode comes off as kinda pathetic and the pretty artwork coming from it does NOT exactly change my mind...
Sure, two men kissing is "homophobic" when they're not the ones YOU wanted to kiss.

I love how they still truly believe Sheith would actually go canon just because people on the staff liked it enough to tease it and make that particular episode. "We love Allura so much, we edit her out of scenes where she and her canon love interest cuddle together so we can use these scenes for OUR shipping purposes that involve her lover! Oh, and BTW do not repost even when we're altering the work of someone else to delete the icky girl in it."
Heard Pidge is also being taken out of canon scenes' screencaps (this time by Sheith fans) but I haven't been able to find those. Thank fucking God, seeing how this fandom's "love" for Allura is only for window dressing was annoying enough.

If people really are editing Pidge out of her and Shiro's scenes, that shows just HOW pathetic and insecure militant Sheith tards really are because Shiro/Pidge never had a snowball's chance of being canon anyway, she's a decade younger than him and their interactions were always like that of a brother and sister. Are they really so threatened by a female character being close to the Hot Gay Dude? "Oh no, she might turn him straight with her evil goopy vagina!"

You can make a relatively easy case for Shiro being Pidge's first love, but at least in the canon continuity it's completely sunk by him being gay (or at least heavily leaning to guys) and her not only being much younger than him, but by her simply not having a romantic arc of her own (unlike Allura, who had two).
So yeah, if that's true... then Sheith fans are REALLY fucking stupid and insecure. They even made a fuss about Shiro's VA making a Shiro/Curtis pun on Instagram.

1) I'm fairly sure that LGBT fans, POC fans, kids and women in general have more important things to do than being butthurt after seven months because a single series didn't end the way the OP wanted. This IS the fandom where the same LGBT fans who moan against "the Wedding" claim that they have legitimate PTSD over it and refer to people who liked Shiro and Curtis together as "straights" even when 99% of the Shiro/Curtis fans around are LGBT in one flavor or another.
Also, the header and the user picture are telling. They have all the signs of being the kind of fan who use Keith as their self-insert and project their "issues" [read: their whiny (wo)manchild angst] on him.
2) The lack of self-awareness is hilarious here. You tell people "OH BUT S8 SUCKED, DON'T WATCH IT LOL" and then whine like a baby that they ain't getting into VLD?
Also "the major elephant in the room" and "some even try to say KL should've happened". Of course rabid Sheith fans need to show the REAL reason why the fandom's so butthurt: they didn't get their precious Sheith ship that they felt entitled to. Usually when kids "ship" things they don't care about things like canon or Good Writing or what the creators said/"promised", etc. Like when I was a little kid and I wanted Mario and the Princess to get together in the cartoons I didn't actually care if they kissed and got married onscreen or not, in my head they were Together and that was that.

That’s the really sad part of all this mess. On paper, representation is not such a bad thing, just including others from different backgrounds.
