When I point out that you are dumber than Phil, mark it Mad on the Internet if you must, but don't you be sendin' me no money B'rerKlicks! Lawd have Mercy!

I removed the mad at the internet rating already. Calm down.
Don't worry about my money. I don't give money to internet people.

I don't get the appeal of those "mini" consoles anyway.
If I want to play retro games I emulate them or I have an original system.
Or you could just assemble your own retro-boxes by using Raspberry Pi's, which doesn't take as much effort for having a neat custom emulator box. It's moderate effort - high reward, especially with how many tutorials there are on YouTube nowadays.

Completely forgot planetjeff existed btw. Dude must've been shitting himself over the fact that Phil got his items back.
Turns out that DSP is now "getting that grooooove back, getting that viiiibe back, he's ready for fun stuff, I hope you guys are too"

True - kinda threw that in under "emulate" in my mind. Whatever works.
Maybe he can get somebody to donate him a preconfigured RasPi box. The boomer segment resulting from that could be entertaining.
"How do I load the game? NOBODY TOLD ME!"

I do see people's points on how it adds up.
Guess I am a bit "distanced" from it all since I know he'll fabricate the next financial emergenREE anyway :tugboat:
Call it naivety if you must. :)

Only someone even dumber than Phil would have actually waited all these years to play those games again if they wanted to.

Phil eventually dropping a shit ton of money on the classics console likely will happen... i can already hear the prestream begging
"okay guise now that i've played the Sega system EVERYONE contacted me and asked 'Fill, are you going to play the other retro systems?"

He's the KING OF RETRO after all - that can't capture anything that doesn't have a HDMI port.

The market for these is ignorant old people who don't know what these newfangled vidya are, but need to buy their grandkids gifts and aging hipster pricks. Occaisional modders too, I guess.

Like you say... most "gamers" by neccesity found better ways of playing these selections of games.

Got a new mini-whale. Cosmicclownface has cheered ~$20 tonight, gifted 10 subs, and appears to have bought Phil the Sega Genesis mini.

Wasn't that who was trying to break up the new release purchase price on the stream where Dragon Quest Builders 2 was supposed to debut but didn't? Where they confirmed as the purchaser of the gift cards too?

I've looked at it before, and it's hard to tell sometimes because it comes down to what you define as trolling. If one of Phil's actual fans asks a baiting-type question, does that count? When I included all the ones I was willing to call a troll, it was like 5-10%, but I'm sure that number goes up and down.

The line between ironically watching and outright troll interaction through contributions with Phil is a tough one to draw, 10% troll, 45% split even between ironic and actual fans of DSP seems about right when you get to the sorting of it out. But I'm just ignorantly guestimating, your totals might reveal a different lean between those in on the jokes having fun with Phil and those legitimately fans of the guy with disability money to burn.

No way he's dropping Minecraft after a Benjamin donation for naming a khet after his supporter. It's basic market economics at this point.

I really want to know this as well. He usually averages 300~ viewers for streams and can really jump up during events like Projared/Etika drama. Just for one day, though will not happen, that ironic viewers, Tevin autists, and detractors would just not watch him to get a better number of actual fans. Because his chat is slooooow as shit for that many viewers.

His youtube channel definitely has some dead accounts still subbed for no reason. KO Gaming has 22k~ subs while his main channel is getting around 187k.

Edit: Oh also, is there a way to view his gifted sub count?

I saw a clip of this one streamer, QTCinderella (very normal, not a thot), who says she averages about 300 viewers which bumps up to 1200 if word gets out about her (like on /r/livestreamfails). She said she still works a full-time job because the money she brings in from streaming isn't high enough or consistent enough to allow her to solely be a streamer.
Which brings me to my point, these are numbers that Phil gets yet Phil is able to pull in $100k+ a year. It just blows my mind how much money he can m.ilk from the paypigs and detractors on a per person basis. He's gotta have one of the highest m.ilk rates in Twitch.TV history.

I have rarely seen thots on twitch act just as shameless as Phil when it comes to the hardcore begging he does. Also keep in mind, with Phil just being completely immoral, has a Patreon as well. On top of a Youtube channel he's also getting cash from those despite of what he says about it being an archive. If it was just an archive, why would he go panic mode if he has any issue that happens no matter how small it is?(MK11 videos, adsense, etc.)

He has really developed some extreme scamming skills. He just got really lazy with his crisis excuses now. Cannot wait for what he comes up next(which will most likely keep going with this issue that will not be resolved until next year). I'm just fucking amazed how long he goes on a daily, about some issue, and that he's dire straights and needs his dumb whales to keep giving him money. Any normal person I could see would go insane with how much his prestreams go like it's Groundhogs Day.

Is there another example of a still active Youtuber getting their subs as high as 185K and growth just stops? DSP had 184K subs three years ago, and has been between 184K-188K the entire time. No growth and no mass desertion. That seems almost impossible to have that small a range in 3 years for an active channel.

From looking at just Let's Play's in general post Ad-pocalypse, that's been the trend across the board.
