I believe it was in Null’s big thread revealing the Idea Guys...
As I recall, Marvin/Null couldn’t even get her to help with bringing it to the police’s attention, since her first and only instinct/response was pretty much: “Chris needs to be institutionalized ASAP!”
But don’t take my word for it, go browse the thread, it’s pretty interesting!

I don't blame Rocky for thinking about putting Chris in the Looney bin. Chris had shown ideas of wanting to rape Rocky. So I don't doubt there are obvious sexual tension in these counseling sessions, and possibly pervy behaviors from Chris. Also, all those counseling did nothing for Chris. Besides, the whole point of going to church for the Chandlers are to take more than give. Free counseling to help Chris instead of professional help. Free social circle that HAVE to tolerate Chris's bullshit. Lastly, free social support to bail the Chandlers out of jail and free donations for Bob's death. It is certain, that Chris will go back to the church for help when Barb dies.

The source for this particular anecdote is the Ivy Q&A (I think) and it didn’t really go into the concrete reason.
I think you have to dig a little under the surface of the Chandler’s to get an answer.
Remember all the trouble they had with the Greene County Conspiracy, and the school board wanting to put Chris in a sped school/institutionalize him?
Something like that would be a good reason for two senior citizens to be suspicious of officialdom. Especially since they at this time had a serious hoarding issue, and were concerned about losing the house if the local authorities found out how bad it was.
And of course Chris also had his first couple of run ins with the law at this time...
So aside from a general distrust of the authorities and an awareness of needing to stay as far off the radar as possible, Bob and Barb were probably convinced that the Police “didn’t know how to handle an autistic kid” since there was no way that it was Chris’s fault that he has been handcuffed.

AFAIK the only time he did that, was when Chris was pretending to be a troll in a chat room/on IRC, and he suggested that Chris be trolled by somehow making him rape Rocky.
That was just Chris LARPing a troll from his bizarre and very limited understanding of the topic.
Kinda like when he wrote about kicking the Chandler cats when pretending to be JenkinsJinkies, despite probably being the last person in Charlottesville who’d physically abuse an animal on purpose.
Heck, I doubt that sex with someone like Rocky would ever cross his mind, considering the infantile and simple way he sees the world. Sex=Hot young 18-28 year old chicks for Chris.

Welp, plain ol forgot this one in the essay I wrote replying to you.
The Chandlers were clueless about the internet. They prob knew little about the extent to which Chris got trolled, and didn’t entirely understand why it was happening.
They had some vague idea about hackers with immeasurable powers constantly making shit hit the fan for them and probably assumed that some of their online enemies were in powerful positions.
(Otherwise, how come nobody was able to stop them?)
In other words: They probably figured that it would be safer to get used to it, and hope it would blow over, rather than going on the offense against these faceless, powerful foes.

Meh, keep in mind that Chris would only consider dating 8-9/10s and would not only show zero interest in chubby or plain looking girls, he’d get outright insulted when anyone would suggest that he should lower his standards.
Would Chris consider raping someone in the deepest, darkest crevices of his mind?
I lean towards no, but I suppose it’s possible.
But it sure as hell wouldn’t be Rocky he’d go for.

That's been discussed ad museum, and it's hell a dumb. Chris can't even tell the difference between a dumb hambeast and a 10. Chris is too much of a pussy to rape anyone. He talked about sex with his mother on the internet. It stands to reason that all his goofy shit like that will be unloaded onto anyone he consider a helpful person. And even more intense in theme. We saw how quick he dropped his nice guy act with his "theoretical exes" as soon as it got comfortable. Once the "niceties are over", there's nothing Chris won't talk about.
Chris also doesn't care, nor has a conversation filter. So just imagine all the shit he's brought up with people he thinks he's "close" to like Barb.

That’s one of the things I find most hilarious about Chris...
Everyone else hears “honest conversation” and think: “Don’t lie, tell the truth.”
Chris’s definition of “honest conversation”? “Tell the truth, talk endlessly and completely without a filter about your deepest secrets and issues.”
So naturally, after talking to a “girl” a few times on the phone, Chris’s first instinct is to impress her with his honesty and let’s loose with the honest content about shitting his pants, fucking dogs and bizarre mass debating methods!
He may not be able to tell the difference between an 8 and a 10, maybe not even between a 5 and a 10, but his face blindness definitely doesn’t stop him from recognizing a fatty.
(Like when Emily tried to hook him up with more regular looking girls, and Chris huffed off to another friend to complain about the hambeasts she was trying to set him up with.)
We can also be pretty sure his face blindness doesn’t prevent him from a rough guesstimate about age. At least judging by the fact that the few times he tried to pick up a girl irl, they were all young. And the lack of reports about Chris trying to pick up grannies, I suppose.
Definitely concur about Chris being too much of a pussy and way too lazy to actually rape anyone.
(Aside from the fact that his libido is pretty dead these days, and quickly shriveled once he had secured the No Virgin trophy.)

Chris *claimed* he only wanted the hotties but, when a fatty was placed in front of him, he did indeed drop his standards. Remember the date with Faeryn (or however it was spelled... the Hambeast 1)? Chris was far more into the date than she was and it was actually Faeryn who said she didn’t want to go out again.

Never say never. Chris is completely unrecognizable from when he was discovered in 2007. Nobody thought he would ever self harm himself and then he did. Nobody could believe that Chris actually thought cartoon characters were real and his friends, but here we are.

Troonery aside, given all that has happened, she ain't wrong. The authorities have zero interest in dealing with Chris's nonsense and that was all a waste of time (evidently no one was willing to go through the effort to try charging them without the police). The tard teflon is a double-edged sword.
I'm not saying he can be institutionalized under the law or even necessarily should be but it's about the only thing that would stop faggotry like the idea guys at this point. Bringing it around to the thread's topic, I suspect he's at a similar place where the only thing stopping him from continually racking up debt he can't pay is going to be that he simply can't because he's going to have no credit extended to him.

Well, because it's kind of funny. While it is possible that he is feeling deep, abject grief at the moment (which, to me at least, is hard to buy because he always manages to bounce back to his usual self within a day or two), his sadness manifests itself as an almost cartoonish representation of the "sad" emoticon. Like, I'm sure Wile E. Coyote is also sad when he realizes that his latest scheme to catch the Road Runner isn't going to work and he's going to get an anvil dropped on his head *yet again* but those cartoons still crack me the fuck up.
And, besides, sad Chris usually follows smug Chris or smarmy Chris and it's always fun to see pride goeth before a fall.
While he's never experienced a physical ass-kicking, every single time anyone has refused to allow him the play the tard card and has tried to hold him responsible for his actions (MLW, Snyder, and *maybe* the TMG con guy), Chris learns nothing and vilifies the person in charge.
If Chris did get his ass beat, he'd probably claim he did nothing wrong and the ass-kicker was either a homophobe who didn't like troons or was a typical brute male who abused a bee-yoo-tee-full lesbian-souled woman.
True. When he got arrested and very lightly hurt during the original attraction sign saga, he just came up with “Jerkops” and raged about it for a long time afterwards.
A reaction that was unfortunately only encouraged by his parents.
Also true about his depressions. He seems to bounce back within a few days. Chris’s depressions kinda have a cartoonish quality to them, like everything else he does.
What I believe that Wutanglee meant about people taking joy in his misery, was more about people taking joy in the extended deroute/depression that Chris has taken over the past few years.
They take joy in him sinking ever lower, and becoming more and more pathetic, to the extent that just the concept of Chris enjoying a few days at BronyCon makes them angry.
(Quite ironic, that the very same people are often the first to point out that Chris is an asshole because of his lack of.... Empathy.)

A ass kicking, no matter how mild, would probably be mentally devastating for Chris, who's already on edge of being irreversibly broken socially. Let's not kid ourselves, Chris is not a "man", he's somewhere in a child like state when it comes to handling social problems. I doubt Chris could overcome his fear of people to every actually fight back or to figure out how to get himself out of a physical altercation, I don't even think his reaction would be to run away. His mental collapse into a ball is about the best he can do, and await for someone to save him. Acting completely helpless and pathetic is actually very powerful on bystanders. I think most people on this forum would jump in to save Chris if they saw him in a ball crying on the ground.
