Rackets has made me so addicted to this case that I'm like a crack addict, willing to suck someone's dick for a copy of that affidavit

Accusing me of "missing the entire point of what's going on here" kind of misses the point that I was just asking as an aside. I understand Vic isn't doing it for the money. I was just curious what the end result was going to be given the speculation that Rial and Toye are broke."Where does Vic get his money" is kind of missing the entire point of what's going on here.
Meh, it all depends on your lifestyle and such.
I know owning property is supposed to be the great American Dream and what adults do, but it’s not ideal for everyone.
Some people prefer the flexibility not owning property gives you, others might prefer to travel or whatever, instead of spending the first ten years of a mortgage basically paying off the interest.
Some just don’t want to deal with the headaches of maintenance, property taxes and worrying about real estate bubbles and busts.
I know successful people who don’t own property and unsuccessful people who don’t own, so I’m going to be fair and give them the benefit of doubt, even though they’re both despicable characters who’d never return the favor.
Law twitter will posture this way, they are DESPERATELY in need of ANYTHING to claim they were right about while BHBH was wrong. I think they will try to spin this as it. "BHBH/Nick never expected a TCPA, and here one is, HAHA you idiots" is current spin, while reality is that Ty and Nick have talked about TCPA coming for a long long time.
I think their filing was fuckin bad, but from Vic's depo I'd say that Funi's lawyer also seemed somewhat competent and just wants the fuck out of this lawsuitHeck, the only vaguely sane lawyer I've seen so far is Jamie Marchi's one, and their main strategy seems to be to get her out of this ASAP. Seems Marchi's the only one to not direct her lawyer beyond "please help me fix this."
Owning property is only as common as it is because owning your primary residence is subsidized to hell and back and encouraged from the federal level on down.
Why in the hell would you need an affidavit for that? The school should have a record for it or that firing should follow Vic throughout his whole life. If the school can't corroborate the story the affidavit is only good for toilet paper.Low-T greg is implying theres an affidavit alleging Vic was fired from that Christian Trinity school for inappropriate conduct with a minor. It's probably by that 'Sharon BTW' person who said there were rumors that's why hed been fired, which she didn't believe at the time but does now.
Yeah that's gonna be an X to doubt from me. How would the student know? No charges or records? Hmmm. Oh and is replying directly to that Michelle liar? Yeah doubt it.Low-T greg is implying theres an affidavit alleging Vic was fired from that Christian Trinity school for inappropriate conduct with a minor. I believe it will just be like Casey's "fact" section that was just pure defamatory statements under the protection of a response. It will be just like filing a set of papers declaring a intent to file a motion, just to try and dox Nick. Every time they do this by some miracle shoe eaters and super lawyers of twit & er instantly release them. They clearly don't care about if a jury will even ever get to see them as long as twitter does. Why in the hell would you need an affidavit for that? Even if Vic doesn't get the money he's asking for, I'm sure being cleared of the charges/accusations will help his career moving forward. Monica has pretty much tanked her own career. No one is going to want to hire her after this shitshow. Vic, at least, has a fan base who will continue to support him & will support projects he's attached to...

...again, I understand all of this. I was only curious about how monetary compensation would play out if the defendants were broke. I was just curious about one specific aspect of the case, when it hopefully plays out in Vic's favor. It was more of a general legal question. I understand this isn't about the money for him and it's larger than the money, but it was one aspect that I was curious about.i think it's for posterity. The bad news if you're a voice actor: if you defame somebody on twitter like an idiot, lawyers will most likely see this case where the party can't pay and they will be very very cautious whether to take your case.
I must respectfully disagree here. Note the ratio of va's that have publicly taken monica's side vs. vic's, even though it is pretty obvious this was an orchestrated hit job.
It's been suggested that a number of them are afraid to speak up because of repercussions. This implies that there is a lot of anti-vic sentiment, not just among va's, but in the industry as a whole. If anything, this makes her a martyr, and sjw's embedded in thr industry will be happy to pick her back up; afterall, she was doing their wetwork for them.
RT and Funi were clearly sympathetic to Monica, based not just on the stuff va's have said, but the fact that funi appears to have published their tweet immolating vic at monica's behest.
Look at it this way - SOMEONE is going to have to voice high guardian spice...
Additionally, Monica could just use a pseudonym like Vic has done in the past. That way, sympathetic companies can still hire her, and not face the backlash from iswv. She may have to avoid her 'go-to' voice though; it's pretty hard to miss.

I agree somewhat but I'm a little more optimistic as most of the people in the VA industry are really dirt poor. I'm sure eventually nobody will turn down a paying job, if they do, there are many people who can fill that gap.
The part where I agree is the case of funimation since they have a good stranglehold on licenses where most VA's get their gigs. If vic is out, that most of his voice work out as well. Hopefully though, funimation hires him back eventually if he wins.
All he wants is to have his career. He'd go back and not even demand that the others leave.Assuming Vic would want to go back to working for Funimation.
It doesn't matter because I'm pretty sure the school they say this accusation came from is in a different state from the one Vic worked at.Low-T greg is implying theres an affidavit alleging Vic was fired from that Christian Trinity school for inappropriate conduct with a minor.
