Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

I'm pretty sure it'll put a legal lien on them effectively destroying their credit standing and their ability to have a good life.
Then they won't have to play at being "woke socialists" anymore. They can actually get a taste of what being Venezuelan is all about. I'm only torqued that it will be my taxes that support their broke ass poor decisions.

...again, I understand all of this. I was only curious about how monetary compensation would play out if the defendants were broke. I was just curious about one specific aspect of the case, when it hopefully plays out in Vic's favor. It was more of a general legal question. I understand this isn't about the money for him and it's larger than the money, but it was one aspect that I was curious about.

Well, assuming Funimation doesn't get out, Funimation could wind up paying on behalf of Moronica's remarks and Funi in turn will hold them accountable for that and they will sue them to make them work for that money to pay it off.
The other is that Ty has hope that he can get at other conspirators and pull their employers into the lawsuit.
The idea is to send a message that it'll cost them to keep defaming him.
Funimation likely won't hire him back unless it is part of a settlement agreement. I also don't know if settlement would be possible at this point, because Sony will probably clean house either way so Vic would be settling for nothing useful since it has gotten this far.

I just checked the database and it's not updated, yet.

Just because an affidavit exists doesn't mean it has been filed or ever will be filed, although it seems likely the contents of this will justify it being filed. I'd guess it's for opposition to the TCPA unless it's in support of some motion we haven't seen yet.

Yeah its not going to be filed appropo of nothing. Nick has it because Ty gave it to him, not because it was filed.

Why in the hell would you need an affidavit for that? The school should have a record for it or that firing should follow Vic throughout his whole life. If the school can't corroborate the story the affidavit is only good for toilet paper.
Yeah that's gonna be an X to doubt from me. How would the student know? No charges or records? Hmmm. Oh and is replying directly to that Michelle liar? Yeah doubt it.
These people think crazy Manjaw and PULL are credible sources, another dumb affidavit isn't a surprise.

All he wants is to have his career. He'd go back and not even demand that the others leave.

It doesn't matter because I'm pretty sure the school they say this accusation came from is in a different state from the one Vic worked at.
Yep. Virginia. Vic graduated liberty college, Virginia, but the school he worked at was in Florida. Michelle claimed he taught at liberty academy, also in virginia, which wasn't called liberty academy at the time she alledges her assault took place.

Thoughts on how this will affect potential damages?

I thought she said it was in Maryland. Vic went to school in Virginia, taught in Florida, but the accusation comes from a school with a similar name in Maryland, whose staff refutes it.

Last I recall was Virginia, but they may have said MD as well. That's part of the problem - the story kept changing locations and dates.

Yeah another one of those stories that changed each time it's told, waiting for the point where the story gets to "He violently raped me whilst biting the head of a puppy and screaming "fuck the whales!" And "climate change isn't real!"
On a side isn't today MoRonica's TCPA deadline or is that tomorrow? Cuck lightyear seems real excited pulling his tiny prick like an excited chimp, so given that he's so happy I'm assuming this TCPA will be a total joke and I really wanna get in on that one while the gettin's good.

The biggest thing that makes me doubt this is that we're supposed to believe they put in the work to make 490 pages of exhibits.
Well now Greg has posted that it's past 5pm in Texas so we won't see it today, so who fuckin' knows at this point.

According to twatter, 8 pages of it are from good ol' emmet and the cuntroonian (they're real happy with themselves for handing in their "damning testimony" and don't realise that once it hits public record they'll be mocked relentlessly) soooo yeah that's the quality we're gonna be looking at so does it really matter how many pages it is? Toilet paper is toilet paper...

It's probably mostly deposition transcripts. Hopefully it's all of them and underacted (at least to the maximum extent possible) because it's a pain to have to scrub through Nick's streams to try to find some information.

I wonder how shot to shit parts of their argument will be by the affidavit from Dahlin though. They put all this work into a TCPA and then a single affidavit just fucking sinks their entire motion by itself. I sure hope Casey didn't put in a lot of time writing making it all up.

Hopefully the TCPA will be as amusing and a complete train wreck as their other filings have been.

Don't disappoint me, Casey and J. Dolf. I have high expectations.
I see 3 outcomes for the TCPA:

1) It absolutely is a wreck
2) They were only pretending to be retarded
3) They somehow got a new lawyer unannounced and they filed a proper TCPA

But maybe they'll get a good filing done for their clients before they drop them for not being payed like a kind of send-off gift.

I really hope that's what happens I want Casey (or more likely Jdolf) to put hours into this shit, runup a nice big fat bill that MoRonica can't pay and then get completely rammed in the arsehole by the affidavit of the guy THEY dragged into this, that would be just....... Terrific

Number 1, definitely number 1. You just know it's gonna be a shit show this is the lawsuit that never stops giving, expect only the highest quality of exceptionalism
