You know, I saw another one of Chris' tomgirl pictures today and I noticed... he looks like he has a very disturbing lack of body hair. Does he shave or wax or nair or something, or is he just naturally hairless? I suppose low testosterone might play a part there, but still. Regular manscaping or waxing sessions seem like they'd be waaay too stressful for Chris to maintain long term. That's time and money that could go to MOAR LEGOS and vidya.
People have always guessed that Chris has been naturally low in testosterone.

He emailed somebody, it might have been Jackie but I'm not sure, and talked about using nair when he started the whole tomgirl thing. But Chris has never had much visible body hair and doesn't even really have the ability to grow facial hair. He had the same early puberty 'stache all throughout his high school years, it never seemed to turn into a proper 'stache.

You're forgetting the goatee. If anything, Chris's facial hair is one of the biggest impediments to his feminine appearance. I can't find any recent photographs where he DOESN'T have a five o'clock shadow.

I was thinking something similar, namely that he is pretty hairless. You gotta admit, whatever he's using is pretty effective, I guess.

Although I could be wrong, I don't think he shaves his face that often. So while in the past he can get away without shaving for days, when he does things like go to that LGBT picnic in a dress his unshaven appearance is a bit more obvious.

I once read somewhere that Chris started removing his pubic hair because he thought Megan preferred shaved genitals. Any truth to that explanation?

EDIT: The image that made me think of that.

I can't grow facial hair anywhere except my chin and 'stache areas. If i try, even for weeks, to grow a light beard it just ends up looking like Gary's "disguise" in Team America: World Police. Point being: Given that Chris is often assumed to have low testosterone, I suspect he may have the same shortcomings as I and therefore went with the goatee and teen 'stache 'cause they were the only options.

The "5 o'clock shadow" is probably more like "days of not shaving". Or I could just be projecting my shortcomings onto others... ;)

The dry shave video is pretty cringe inducing. not just shaving dry, but shaving long facial hair with a razor, and being such a spaz and repeatedly feeling out his progress while trying to make a video.

What is this, how and why was it made, and why does it look so much better than everything else? Was it just arranged by Chris and then made by machine?
I know what these are, but I can't remember for the life of me what it's called, it's one of those needle craft thingys where you thread through those holes with yarn to create these pictures. At least Chris had better control of his hands here.

I find I can grow a beard too easily but not a 'stache, I tried last month or so ago and it just aggrevated me it wasn't long enough to be of any use.

I'm just amazed that he managed to create something that doesn't look completely terrible without a kit or something.

It's a kids weaving tool it's a plastic grid you sew knitting yarn through to make a pattern, it's fairly common in art classes for young kids as it's simple an easy for them to do.

Thanks for explaining it, I don't recall ever doing one of these, yet thinking Chris made this as a high school student gave me a chuckle since I was painting in acrylics and watercolors then.

No problem, but when I say young kids I do mean young kids like 5 - 7 years old.

The presence of Banjo dates this to likely being made in high school. Part of me wants to say he did this at home because I can clearly see a cross, but then again it's Virginia so what do I know. Although if multicolor yarn was included in the kit that was kind of dumb because it doesn't make the cross part stand out every well. On the other hand Chris wrote his name on the project (which looks horrible) which leads me to suspect he came up with that on his own (along with Banjo) and I can't imagine he didn't have an adult to help him with both of those.
