Monica Rial / Monica Jean Rial / Rialisms & Ron Toye / Ronald Toye III / rontoye3 - 5th Bulma and Ron "Pick Up the Phone or You'll Find Your Dog Dead When You Get Home" Toye

He's cucking himself out of any audience he had. His dopamine withdrawal must be terrible.
To be fair, he was probably the butt of every joke before this happened, having this whole Vic thing must have been a taste of heaven for him. But that was short lived, and now he realizes the fewer followers he has, the less jokes he deals with.

The odd thing there is that for all that there was apparently some genuine anger coming through when she said that, she was lying through her teeth. Of the five VAs(Jason Liebrecht, Monica Rial, Christopher Sabat, Vic Mignogna, and Carrie Savage) for the main characters, not one of them have their names on the DVD boxes. A cursory check of other series suggests that lack of names is common. Anime simply doesn't advertise by having the names of dub VAs on the box.

Unless its Ghibli

Because they’re not public figures... whoops

So after the Dahlin affidavit it seems like some parts in Monica's Izumicon story, like where she covered her face when Stan came in, were some sorta weird attempt to gain weasel room in anticipation of Stan making a statement that runs counter to the narrative? Like "Oh you don't remember it because I downplayed it at the time, it totally happened"

Christ, I'm almost starting to wonder if she contacted him (without mentioning the lawsuit, just "hey you remember that time vic almost raped me?") and couldn't get him to agree to the story, but just ran with it anyway.

Are they really stupid enough to do that? The Weeb Wars thus far have trained me to assume that the answer is always yes.

My guess is that it was the part where she said "I covered my face" so that she can later say "oh well he didn't think anything happened because I covered my face so there's no way he could've known I was distressed" or something along those lines.
It still wasn't very smart to just list him as a witness though because that's still a pretty fucking flimsy ass reason. Like..if you're being assaulted, why are you hiding your face instead of pleading for help from the one person who could actually help you out of that situation? More importantly, if you told him about it, why would he ever invite the both of you together into the same fucking space if he knew what Vic had ALLEGEDLY done? Even more importantly, why would she fucking GO BACK? Anyone with half a brain can see that it was a consensual affair but she's spinning it to make it seem like some kind of traumatic rape.

This was my original hypothesis, but the issue now is that Vic doesn't even recall an Izumicon incident.

Monica's lied about being the Vic Whisperer (seriously, she can pound sand for plagiarizing that title from @Svetlana), she lied about the JP Broly recast (which never happened), she lied about the billing on the ENG Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle DVD boxes (no VA names are listed on them, why the hell would they do that, anyways?), and we're likely going to find that there was no Izumicon incident altogether-- or if there was, it was terribly different than what Monica said, in the "there was no physical intimacy whatsoever" kind of way.

She also probably lied about the Sentai ban

No, don't you get it? The incident didn't even happen. Vic can't attest to it even when he can attest to hiring an escort and having plenty of sex (wherever he chooses), Stan doesn't remember it and didn't do anything that relies on the knowledge of the incident, and Monica's given three different recharacterizations of her response to Vic's advance ("I froze up" (in her Twitter post) → "I resisted but was overcome and then thrown on the bed before Stan came in" (in her filing) → "I went along with it" (in her deposition)).

I think it's likely that Vic and Monica did have some sort of sexual encounter in the hotel room after hearing him state that he's never had any sexual interest in Jamie Marchi (something he did not say about Monica, though that was much earlier in the deposition), along with his statement that anything that happened between him and Monica was consensual. They had whatever encounter in that room, Stan knocked on the door and gathered them for dinner.

Monica may or may not have covered her face and appeared flustered because she was getting involved with a man she knew to be engaged (is Stan going to say anything?). From what I recall Vic didn't state that she didn't return to his room later - he only asked why she would if she felt she was assaulted. The phone conversation between Monica and Vic's fiancée may have happened at that point

All speculation of course

Do you notice how nobody asked either Vic or Monica if they have ever had sexual relations at depo? Funny isn’t it?

I recall Vic saying he never kissed monica on day 3 of the Vic depos.

Good thing she didn't say something along the lines of "He saw that I was distressed and asked if I was ok."

What? Well shit...
