Their gaming videos have already been separated from comedy for a long time.Apparently, they made the announcement for this channel on their most recent 10MPH episode- saying it's to separate their comedy from their gaming, or some such.

People in the comments section are pointing out they tried this once before with Grumpout - and asking why they simply don't reuse that channel. According to a user on r/rantgrumps, the mods on the Grumps Discord channel said that it's because they lost the password to that channel (because there's no way they could retrieve it on their own or ask Barry - the guy who made the Grumpout channel and their supposed friend - for the password).

I thought the whole point of 10MPH being its own thing was to separate the pure comedy and gaming videos already?
I'm giving the grumps the benefit of doubt here but maybe barry also forgot the password and they are just too lazy to get the channel back?

I think it's pure laziness on their part - as password retrieval has been a thing for years. All you need is an email addy to get a password back.
Unless they think getting a new channel would generate more buzz; hence more subs/view or some such.

They're trying to make Allie a thing but no one cares for her. I'm starting to think that Allie is going to alternate with Dan in gaming videos and they're pushing her into everything to make the fans not be too disgruntled over it

You know, maybe this is obvious, but I just realised that Youtube might be the reason behind so many of their big creators not having a Patreon. I wouldn't be surprised if Youtube started handing out exclusivity contracts when Patreon started getting big, and the big creators figured they could get more money out of Youtube rather than relying on a new monetization system. Now the Game Grumps have been hemorrhaging views and Youtube doesn't care about them any more, but they either can't or don't want to break their contract in order to open a Patreon. That makes more sense than just assuming they're too incompetent to open a simple Patreon.

Tome? As in Chris "VA for TFS, interviews real VA, voiced in real games and cartoons. And does everything Arin wish he could be" Niosi? Damn it must burn Arin up knowing the guy Chris' game is bigger and more notable than Meme Daddy.

It's one of three things.
1) Twilight Princess was put on hiatus in order to play Mario Maker 2 (a game that guarantees view counts).
2) Twilight Princess' views have been waning (it's been a month since they last uploaded an episode, and a few haven't reached the bare minimum of 250k views); so it'll be moved to streams.
3) Arin rage quit the game and it's been chucked into the bottomless void where all of the games that are just too much of a challenge for Arin go to die.
