Arin Hanson / Egoraptor / Grump - "Hey I'm Grump!" of Game Grumps fame, hypocritical SJW doxer, shat himself recording a let's play

Jon's uneducated hot take in that stream basically saved him from the shit fest of GG, H3H3, Normal boots, and Projared imploding. So him becoming taboo for Arin is probably the best thing for him.

you mean the lynch mob who got mad when he stated facts and statistics the only reason he looked bad in that debate was he admitted to not being that good at debating so he couldn't comunicate what he was trying to say

It's apparent to me that Arin is content in staying in his Garbage can. The can of Grump Garbage.

Look at Jontron. So Arin kicked him out due to boozing so much. Then Jontron went on to have a guest spot on AVGN.

Then you have Ross and Holly, who broke up when Holly started her tryst with ProJared leading to that own shitstorm.

Yet Arin and Danny keep sitting around with a bored format, taking turns with the bong and White Widow, making constant dumb jokes, and they make money in the enormous Headquarters they created by stealing Let's Players Ideas.

If Arin wanted to solve all of his problems in one swoop, he could set up a fan participation system. There's plenty of die-hards in his fandom that would shill out considerable cash just to be in a single episode with him and Dan. They would probably have no problem buying their own plane tickets and hotel rooms if they wanted to go in person. Then Arin could alternate regular episodes with guest episodes. He'd make a ton of money, make his fanbase happy, and have a ton of new content.

But I guess that would be admitting defeat.
I'd support this just because of all the great moments of Dan and Arin having to deal with some of the most autistic people on the Internet while trying to stay friendly.

You may have been onto something. Yogscast CEO stepepd down and got intro the troubles!

Maybe Game grumps is next?
T-T-TURPSTERVISION, TURPSTERVISION

Some zoomer gave her sass so she tried contacting his mother or school. It was really pathetic
Yeah I don't know what I expected from someone whose job is pretending she's doing something while being a friend-on-a-payroll

I imagine it wouldn't work because Arin seems to think he's better than anyone and I suspect he looks down at fans. He always seems to me like he's secretly extremely prideful of being able to play videogames and earning money off of millions of people watching him, and in general he comes off as kind of a dick at moments. It really shines through in longer sessions like their streams where he's sometimes insulting towards fans, also shines through in private message situations (at least I believe I saw that before somewhere). I think Dan would maybe be able to put up appearances or straight up tolerate it but Arin seems like he has little patience and already looks down on everyone, especially the people who are his source of revenue.

All fun and games until some fan comes on and starts asking Jon questions or something like that.

Or better yet, Jon buys the fan participation package and now Arin HAS to let him be on an episode.

Honestly, it would make my century if SuperMega ever got bigger than Game Grumps just to see Arin seethe watching the former editors that he barged into and treated like garbage gain more followers, views and publicity than he ever could dream of.

I like SuperMega, but I think they either won't get that big or choose to not let themselves get that big before they move on to a different project. They have said that they dont want the channel to be their entire careers and eventually they want to work on other things potentially in separate ways. And honestly, I prefer it that way, their subreddit is already cancer, parroting dead memes that are super low effort and even Matt and Ryan have said that they're super sick of certain jokes, but don't want to come off as joke police. I'd like to chalk that up from the inevitable Game Grumps fan bleedover. It's like they're too inept to tell what is a joke and what isn't so half the humor is wasted.

Safe bet Arin would take credit for any success Supermega would get.
In the comments on their Japan vlog way too many Grump fans try to relate the video to the Grumps somehow, as if they don't understand SuperMega isn't affiliated with them anymore. There was one comment however saying "this looks like an outfit Arin would unironically wear" about a very ridiculous and lame outfit Ryan was wearing ironically, and I found that pretty funny because it's true.

A new channel? Seriously?
I wonder what this is even for. There aren't any videos, or really any sort of description, despite the channel existing since May. Maybe it's so no one else can grab "The Grumps" as a name.

Apparently, they made the announcement for this channel on their most recent 10MPH episode- saying it's to separate their comedy from their gaming, or some such.

People in the comments section are pointing out they tried this once before with Grumpout - and asking why they simply don't reuse that channel. According to a user on r/rantgrumps, the mods on the Grumps Discord channel said that it's because they lost the password to that channel (because there's no way they could retrieve it on their own or ask Barry - the guy who made the Grumpout channel and their supposed friend - for the password).

Firstly, lost passwords aren't so much a problem anymore when most services offer a "forgot your password" option, and even then, like you said, they could just ask Barry.

Secondly, at least Grumpout is a more creative name. It's not great, but The Grumps sound like an off-brand of Game Grumps. Though then again, modern Game Grumps is already an off-brand of what it used to be.
