Okay, so what actually happened?

All of the video I've seen of this so far has been carefully stripped of any context, so I don't know in what area he thinks he can do whatever he want. Given the shenanigans the news media have been playing lately, I am deeply skeptical.

You know this reminds me of how Don Rickles and Andy Griffith (Two very funny guys and two big Democrat supporters) didn't lose their heads when Reagan was elected back in the eighties (In fact Rickles performed at Reagan's inauguration ceremony and considered it the highlight of his career). It's quite scary that almost four decades later most of these people think we should stage a coup instead of going "Ree-gan or Raygun. Oh who cares."

Edited because I forgot this isn't 2000

The thing about Reagan though was that he represented "Old Hollywood" and a lot of older actors and actresses supported Reagan because of that in terms of respecting him for going from B-Movie actor to President of the United States. The 70s era "New Hollywood" types hated Reagan, but they didn't have much leg room to throw a tantrum. Most hippies had become yuppies and just wanted to make money to live the sweet life or to just provide for their wife and kids. And the growing youth market, basically didn't give a flying fuck about the 60s/70s and were more concerned with vapid materialism or having fun and a good time. Most of the young folks thought of the late 60s/early 70s lunatic left as pathetic jokes and in general, had their own "end of history" view that all of the major social issues were resolved by the ending of the Vietnam War, passage of the Civil Rights Act and Nixon resigning. And moreso, saw Reagan as the dawning of THEIR time, and weren't about to throw stones at him given that life was good for them. Especially for those who were old enough to experience the Carter and Ford Administration; two major "Debby Downer" types.

A LOT of the major 60/70s era icons had a bad 80s that kept them from stirring up shit. A lot of the directors hit the skids and produce garbage flops that killed their ability to do whatever they wanted. A lot of major music acts who were big in the 60s flopped HUGE in the 80s and the few that still had hit records did so by pulling a Chris Cornell and churning out MTV friendly, radio friendly unit shifters. And then you had say, Jane Fonda; who famously did "9 To 5" and then retired to be a millionaire's wife and create the genre of masturbation fodder work-out films for teenagers. Or those who just said "fuck it" and put their high brown marxist views in the closet because they realized they liked being rich better than poor.

I wish these blue checkmarks would just say what they mean. Maybe their defeat in 2020 will finally knock the mask that's currently only halfway off to the ground.

They will never do that, until they know 100% that they can do it and not have to face consequences when they take off their gloves and masks and reveal their true monstrous faces as far as done the necessary damage to make resistance utterly futile.

It's why they are so close to doing that right now. Once Hillary got elected, they were going to show their true monstrous selves. They probably already loosened their masks and gloves and clothing to the extent that it's easier for them to take them off at last than it is to shuffle off out of site and reapply their disguises and wait until people forget that they nearly got naked and were monsterlike underneath their clothing.

It will be so great to stick it to these condescending, elitist assholes on election night 2020. As Ish from Pimp My Ride used to say, 'It's gonna be too many fun.'

This man is retarded. Rural landscapes are gorgeous. What kind of taste does he have or more than that, why is he stereotyping a rural landscape like this?

He's full of it. I live and work in a city but every time I pass a passed out bum with a needle in his arm I dream of the semi rural area I grew up in.

Globohomo not even once.

His tweet boils down to "It's not a city so it's shit."

Like right from the start his shit about "land use", that's exactly what he means by that. I mean, it's basically this scene from The Great Outdoors, except instead of the sneering urbanite being portrayed as a jackass, it's this guy thinking it makes him a galaxy brain.

He was talking about it in context of the Mueller investigation.
You know what? If I were him, I wouldn't bother refuting this thing. I'd laugh it off and let the usual spergs on the left screech about this. Their credibility is more than shot, and no one outside of their hugbox is likely to care. Actually addressing this might look weak and defensive. Ignoring it costs him nothing.

Yeah, he may have done this on purpose toward exactly this end. I have no way to know.

398 - 17 is considered "divisive" now? I'd say that's a pretty clear indication that nobody wanted it.

Its also a clear cut indication that both political parties are scared shitless of world jewry for many reasons. I'd say principally they are petrified of losing access to all that sweet, sweet cash and positive press and all that money and press being diverted to primary challengers.

Pretty gay that the US government is giving opinions on people's freedom of speech and association in something as "official" as a resolution though. Love that I am being forced to pay these people to spend time they should be debating policy on sucking another country's dick.

I don't think they are trying to imply the vote was divisive as in close. I think they meant that there are people with strong opinions about the issue, which I'm assuming you know/agree with but think it is misleading wording. I don't know if I can agree with it being malicious in that sense other than just trying to bait clicks.
