There's never been a confirmed case of DID, it's a highly contested condition that few actually believe is real and no one knows the exact symptoms of or how it would work, and the most compelling cases for it not being totally made up involve a single split caused by some kind of break - such as intense torture or that sort of thing. Even those are pretty shaky and unconfirmed. There's no reason to believe Shayu has anything close to DID. Something that makes him unstable and swing between attitudes like BPD, sure, but if he's claiming he has multiple personalities that differ between KV and ISWV, he's just blowing smoke



Sex pest is the nice little term they use for people they can't call a rapist but want you to think of like a rapist anyway. It's a kind of flexible term where it could just mean a person who's a pest at work harassing people or it could mean someone who extorts sex out of co-workers and others for years, but isn't a violent rapist. And the DSM-5 recognises it and gives diagnostic criteria. It's a trauma based disorder primarily from what we can see, and has many comorbitalities, but that doesn't mean its not real. It's simply not true that "few believe it's real", it is a contested diagnosis and has been since its discovery but it's still recognised by institutions and psychiatrists. As I said, it's due for a reclassification, but it's definitely a real diagnosis that describes a range of symptoms, albeit rare symptoms. Common cases of DID show comorbitalities of several Cluster B disorders, including borderline and BPD. Without the diagnostic of DID there would be no where to put people that have multiple personalities with seperate perceptions, which is a very real thing.

Granted, I can respect him being pissed off at people calling Child Services on him never mind the Police for a swat. That is certainly something to be worried about unfortunately in this day and age, but for the life of me, I don't understand why he, EVS, or others even bothered giving that Harpy any attention whatsoever. That's a big part of the controversy behind it, in that media attention on the matter lets people reinforce in their brain that they have some condition and that they need special treatment because of it. I know of several cases of where a patient hears about DID, or gets into a chat group with other multiples and that dissosiation forms in their mind. This touches on something major in psychology, namely the human ability to make themselves mentally ill, and what we can/should do about it. It's not a less valid diagnosis just because they made themselves believe it, it still has to be treated and managed. Tumblrinas and others that diagnosis themselves with it certainly harm the greater public by normalising a rare disorder caused by intense suffering into something anyone could have. However, the brain is our worst enemy when it comes to rationalising and dealing with suffering, and one of the ways it does this is by distancing itself from the memory and creating warped perspectives to distract from reality, and those affected by this warped thinking still need help.

Doxing isn't good or bad. It isn't anything, because it does literally nothing other than put a name/face to anonymous words on the internet and provoke reactions from the person being doxed. Harassment like what kickvic tried to do to Em the Nurse is completely separate from doxing. Doxing allows that harassment more easily (though anyone doing that harassment could do the research themselves if they wanted to) but it's still separate. No point connecting the two and making it seem like there's some kind of morality involved.

the point is that no matter what the doxing itself is okay. Be it you, me, your archnemesis or anybody else anything on the internet is free to go. Using this info for shitty purposes is the same but never okay. No matter who it is using this info to harass them or their employer is never acceptable

Then we had that guy a few months back trying to say that Vic was charged at Ohayocon, which once again is in Columbus Ohio. And then we have that troon once again coming out with a story about Ohayocon. And that’s before the side shit like the Colossalcon spergery.

This really isn’t a place where something like #kickvic is going to find friendly territory, it’s gone solid red since 2016 and is only getting more red since.

I mean the truly ironic thing about this is that he himself had said that he would be willing to doxx himself by filing a police report against people calling CPS or the police on him which pretty much is going to be what happens anyway. As far as I'm concerned, he could have won far more sympathy by being honest by saying : Hey there guys. I've got some good news, but some bad news. The bad news is my doxx will be coming out very shortly. The good news is, It'll be on a police report requesting some kind of Cease and Desist order for a certain blue haired orca friend. Instead, he opted to win pity points.

Edit: Nick did things knowing his dox will eventually be dropped. You need to talk to him on steps to take to minimize any potential problems going forward such as swatting and whatnot.
