I wonder if he also misses the days where he used to call Blazblue "Twink Fighter", pissing off top players, making the East Coast FGC look bad, and earning the ire of just about every other fighting game player on SRK Forums? Those were the good ol' days, right Phil?

Also, shitty hotels? If I recall correctly, didn't he stay in the fucking Marriot where he chilled with Team Spooky during Winter Brawl? I remember that vaguely, because he was filming a fight just outside the hotel and MvC3 had it's first big tournament, but that was years ago. If someone could confirm, I'd appreciate it.

And I can't imagine traveling to tournaments and competitions being very stressful for him, since John Rambo basically chauffered his ass on every long distance trip because "Bad Back" Burnell cannot drive on highway.

I'll throw my vote in for Phil never actually announcing anything. Didn't he basically do the same thing at least once around the start of the year and nothing ever came of his supposed announcement? If something good genuinely happened to Phil, I don't think he'd have the willpower to resist talking about it during his 2+ hours of prestream.

The last one I can remember was a release day shill stream of Metro Exodus where he was bitching about chat acting crazy, implying they were scaring off new business viewers.

Yeah, people were getting suspicious of the whole tax stuff due to the fact that he seemed to always owe taxes so he's stopped that for just "lots of debt and secret money prablems" but he's noticed thats not working out so I think he's gonna give the fans a victory and say that they paid off his debts so they feel like their contributions meant something and they solved a problem. Then he can bring a new prablem next month.

For tournaments to take place you need a big ass ballroom to house all the people and setups. You can get a ballroom at nicer hotels like Marriotts, Hiltons, MGMs, etc. You're not getting one at a La Quinta Inn. This is a guy who picked out the most expensive suite in a very nice hotel in Seattle (10 miles away from home), he's not staying at a Red Roof Inn and hoofing it to the venue. I'm calling bullshit.
