I requested public records regarding Yaniv from the Township of Langely. What I got back were the dates and PowerPoint presentations from appearances before the Township shown here.

Attached is the FOI request form you have to email them if you want additional information. They appear to charge large fees per page copied from paper records. I don't know if they charge a similar fee for records stored electronically. I didn't continue pursing the information.

EDIT: Here are the fees:

People should post if they want any information requested. I'll think about how to formulate a records request to get the information people want and post it here for suggestions later. The request must be for records within the custody and control of the Township. In order to get records beyond the township some other procedure would be necessary and I don't want to get into that right now.

Thoughts so far:
  • mayor's office
  • police records (RCMP, might not be available from the Township)
  • bylaw enforcement records (might be different type of law enforcement agency that the Township does have records for)
It appears that RCMP records require a different procedure. The PDF for that is attached and they charge a $5 processing fee minimum.

How about the court records from his suing Meghan Murphy, Lindsay Shepherd, Jay Cameron (JCCF) and John Carpay (JCCF)? I was willing to pay the $6 (even the nesting $6) but unwilling to dox my actual address, which they required at the time.

What organization has those records?

If memory serves they were filed in the Superior Court in Vancouver. Someone posted the link to courts in BC but I don't have it off the top of my head. @WGkitty @sixthwave @Cato or anyone else, if you do can you provide it?
I can't find those?

If you haven't seen my posts with the details on 3 of his earlier cases, "enjoy"

The first quote preview is messed up at this time and I'm not sure why but it leads to case summaries.

Case 1

Case 2

Case 3

I got sidetracked from making the fourth and final post of my intended four but this might save you from paying a few $6s here and there. I summarized them as best I could for your reading pleasure.

Long time no see! I remember when you ponied up the nesting $6s. The Shepherd/Cameron/Murphy cases are newer, so if you don't mind me asking, what did it cost you to get to what he actually said and what the respondent said back?

Okay I bought it see attached!

Edit:
So I have read this and as I understand it this was already published on the BCHRT website (see December rulings) but the reason this lawsuit has come up on BC Courts is because the HRT can't open a closed case, they can only be punched up to BC Supreme Court. JY wants to close this case and JCCF wants it reopened to sue for costs.

I can't even. I just read the entire thing and was flabbergasted by the naivete of Devyn Cousineau. Then I reminded myself that this was written months ago before the tampons began to fly...

TY! This is how far I got with my $6. Which provided scant new info as Devyn's pdf was already up for free. When I clicked any of the links in screenshot 2, it asked for another $6.

Without paying for the additional nesting $6s, how did you ascertain that the five suits were about him trying to keep the Poyer case closed? It's a plausible theory regarding the JCCF lawyers and the org itself, but neither Shepherd nor Murphy were involved in that case.

Huh, it's weird. Those links were free for me. There wasn't anything in them though, just blank details like who was their legal representation

What has been requested out of the screenshots shown?
Out of what I've posted I've got it all. I think other than that the 3 civil cases that don't relate to moms strata have been posted above and the civil case for mom's strata is somewhere in the main thread.

The only one that is missing is x vs Lindsay Shepard (case#190136) but that seems like it probably relates to another BCHRT escalation. Were there any extra ones that were being reopened? You can get those without paying from the BCHRT website.

Hey! I've been here, just got blown away when the main thread took off and couldn't stop to post until I had experienced every terrifying detail.

IIRC I didn't pay more than $25 or $30 for all of the data that I posted combined. I wondered at the time if I might look back and feel like it was too pricey, but after experiencing the lasting entertainment value, I stand thoroughly corrected. Worth every penny. Highly recommend if you are curious. Even if you can't make heads or tails of the court docs, you already know someone here will be delighted to sperg over the legalese and figure out what Tampon Jon was up to in his former years.
