T. Greg Doucette / Thomas Gregory Doucette / greg_doucette / TGDLaw / fsckemall / lawdevnull / TDot - Super Lawyer, Failed Politician, Captain of The Threadnought, Drowning in Debt

It's an elaborate, malignant hugbox.

It is a pack of howler monkeys. Any intruder who attempts to present them with a fact is howled down immediately by a swarm of demented fuckwits. Then they assume they're right because they can't hear anyone disagreeing over their incessant howling.

Though I'm baffled that no super lawyer has come to Nick's defence. Wouldn't it be a surefire way to boost popularity and prove just how superduper good at law you are?

The problem is the forum. The left and the outrage crowd is more comfortable on Twitter than on other platforms like YouTube, so if you're going to do Super Law in the Land Of Blue Checkmarks, you get your following from catering to them.

Even if a competent attorney swooped in, acted as a contrarian to LawTwitter, aiming to claim the "I Was Right" banner after a Vic win, you know the echo chamber won't give him credit for correctness. They already laid out the narrative of "we only lost because of harassment, scared witnesses, and the GFM". They'll bitch about "perfectly valid victim accounts" being thrown out, which surely would have brought Vic down if not for some technicality that a totally biased judge was on the wrong side of deciding.

(How do they know he decided it incorrectly? Why, 50 lawyers in the SpedNaught said so!)

I think the other issue is that, the other lawyers, are actually good at what they do and are too busy to waste their time on this shit when they have cases to work on.

No, her affidavit is going to get striken from the record because it critically contradicts two different affidavits that also contradict each other, one of them being issued by a guy who wasn't even there in '07...and also because it's likely that she's legit been diagnosed with BPD or somesuch, in which case she perjured herself from line frigging 1 of her affidavit.

It is not even necessary to go into all that. You can throw most of it out because it is based on things she heard, was told or believed. These aren't facts. Vic giving out what she thought was his personal phone number to what looked like underage girls is not evidence they can use.

Remember, Law Twitter and the Spednaught mainly stems from lawyers who made their bones on the Internet from mocking idiot sovcits and birthers and other complete assclowns whose lolsuits got nearly invariably chucked out of court on 12(b)(6) motions, so now they assume any lawsuit they don't like is one of the same.

It's pretty easy to get arrogant when your whole Internet "legal practice" is dunking on schizophrenic frivolous litigants where all you have to do is predict they get thrown out of court on a 12(b) motion of some sort and you'll be right every time.

I think we're actually a level or generation removed from that. It's almost like a cargo cult where there might be a few of the old guard remaining that know their stuff and have grown a little lazy, but the bulk of newer members who weren't around in the old days just seem to be idiots thirsty for attention and Twitter ass-pats that have just taken on the behavior without really understanding anything beyond that.

You look at someone like Greg who quite literally spent just about every waking moment on Twitter one day last October (and clearly on several other occasions as well) and tell me that he actually has any time to review the cases or law being discussed.

And if you think that's bad, look at one of the other lawspeds that has a thread here. 862 tweets. If he stayed up for 24 hours straight he'd still have to tweet more than once every two minutes just to hit that number.

I don't believe Mike Dunford has a thread, but it appears that Weeb Wars has brought him into full bloom as well. Only 413 tweets (merely a single tweet every two and half minutes assuming 7 hours for sleep and other necessities), but just look at the before and after. It's quite clear when the exceptional awakening began.

Maybe there are still a few worthwhile lawyers whose opinions are worth listening to left, but at this point they're in the minority and they haven't taken care to remove the idiots from their midst. We know Greg has nothing better to do with his time and even though he's willing to give away his service for free, he still can't get clients on a regular basis.

Just for fairness, here's Nick's graph. His peak day (which on further examination appears to be arguing with a lot of different people about Meyer v. Waid) is much closer to Low-T's average day. It almost looks like even though he doesn't try to take many cases he's busy putting together and running a three-hour show or playing with his kids or something.

Just one more fun. Only 4 tweets tops on a given day and week long stretches of nothing. I bet this is a lawyer whose motions look fucking pristine, organized immaculately, with well thought out arguments, and plenty of citations to relevant case law. I'll bet that suave gentleman even files on time.

But I love sausage-making videos :(
or any cooking vids for that matter…

No one wants to commit mutiny on the spednaught. But, I am sure the super lawyers feel as if it is better to jump Nick with dunks, rather than support what he says.

Damn i'm slow. I just realize R Broly is his way of comparing Vic to R Kelly. Well for one fuck you, you bald cuck for comparing the two

oooh boy, T. Greg, what a horrible comparison..but what should I expect from a man who represents the worst of lawyers,
and who they talk about when it comes to lawyer jokes. Read the above, Greg, slowly please.

In the event Douchette is Touched by the Beard (unlikely, I know), someone at BHBH is going to blow a few blood vessels wading through all that sewage.

Ty: Why is a Manhattan Phone Book on my table?
Paralegal: That's Captain Cpap's Threadnought.
Ty: You gotta be shitting me.

...so, they're the Skeptic septic community of the law world?

FTFY

Those lawyers who could and would support Nick can't do that simply because they have some real cases to work on and can't literally spend days on end on Twatter like Captain Cpap who's more or less unemployed.

Sadly Greg deleted his tweet saying I should stay out of it because I'm not a alwyer. Exchange goes like this;

Greg: You were an officer in the Marines, there's no barrier for that. You should stay out of this since you haven't really done anything.

Me: Apparently there is a barrier, and you know it since you didn't pass it to become an officer.

I had to delete that tweet for going after a "protected class", but no suspension. Was sad.

Going after a protected class?

Does that have to do with the lungs that try to strangle him at night?

You can't make fun of retards on Twitter any more?

Fucking bummer.

There was a Twitter thread the other day in which it was claimed that Prager was still a volunteer during the years he wasn't head of security. I expect it's one of the threads screencapped in the manjaw thread.
