DarksydePhil / TheyCallMeDSP / Phil Burnell - General Discussion

Phil has been going on for 5 minutes about people who don't take good care of their pets, including a story of someone he knew (?) buying a bird from a pet shop with a return policy, and then returning the bird because it wasn't a good fit for them, as if that was a bad thing. "The bird is gonna be mentally screwed up for life!"

Phil's hamsters were so bored and mistreated that they spent their entire lives chewing the bars and acting like prisoners, and then one died and was left alone and then the other died and it all got thrown in the garbage. Phil talking about pets is fucking infuriating.
Did anything trigger him talking about pets or can we call it now that his news is he got a cat. He has almost nothing going on in his life, so if he starts talking about something for multiple days in a row it's pretty much proof. Like the grill he talked about that for like 2 weeks, so you know he bought one.

Two clips from today's (07/28/19) Dragon Quest Builders begging stream, during that magic time between the prestream YouTube recording and the beginning of the gameplay YouTube recording.

Of course, The Snort & Sniff Grifter revels in annoying his viewers by crunching plastic bottles into the microphone like a flaming asshole.
He's self-conscious about his pigsnorts, which is why he gets salty and cries victim whenever people criticize him when he purposefully leans into the microphone to snort into it.
Crunching bottles is something that he's not self-conscious about, which is why he delights in doing it at his viewers expense.

DSP uses pignosis to shake bits out of his pigpigs and tryhard trolls.
Predictably, timboslicegb, a cuck, answers the call and opens up his wallet to DSP.

The Grift Continues . . .

The fate of those poor hamsters has been discussed plenty of times before, but based on the footage Phil shot he didn't give a shit about them and Leanna was the one who at least tried to give them some attention. I'm sure the only times he ever interacted with them were to waddle over to make a cheap vlog for easy YouTube money. Phil is such an incompetent fuckup when it comes to taking care of other living things that he killed a fucking houseplant a month after he got it because he didn't water it. Literally one thing to do and he couldn't be bothered. I guess he expected the nursery to send him an email telling him what to do. Those hamsters would have died a lot sooner from malnutrition or most likely cannibalized each other if Phil were their only caretaker. He doesn't want pets, because he thinks it's too much work (he's already so busy!), they're too expensive (he doesn't have the money to do it!) and he doesn't value emotional attachments (he doesn't need friends!). Leanna probably wanted dog or a cat, had to settle for hamsters. Kat wants a cat, has to settle for nothing.

I know he was ranting about Allinity tossing her cat. He acted like he was actually upset about what she did.

Relatively low levels of salt and rage in tonight's Minecraft session. Hailed as a success with a LOT of progress. But he almost always says that, and it's never really true. Not as much trolling, not as much talk with chat. Just Phil absorbed in his own head, thinking and talking about shit, possibly dreaming of his day out - uh, off tomorrow. Soon after he started the video for YouTube, he immediately started moaning when he noticed there was an update for Streamlabs - the software he uses to inform him of money donations that come in. He spent minutes on end leaned in to the laptop with a miserable face complaining about how the software is throwing his off usual way of doing things, and offloading the reason why he can't start the gameplay due to the update. I'm not going to feign astonishment at his laziness, technical ineptitude, lack of responsibility, shamelessness, and greed here, because of course it's no surprise. We're stuck in this perceptual state where we're always constantly saying "You won't guess what this piece of shit did today!", but never advance to the next state. Constant outrage at the newest thing, like it's a surprise, because there is no end or other way to release.

One thing I found kind of odd tonight was he repeated word-for-word responses he has given to questions in recent days. I know he's a broken record with the pre-stream script, his catchphrases and reoccurring "just" reminders to "not mandatory" tip "because he really needs the money right now". But I thought it was a bit weird how similar his answers to questions were. Even his clownmode grunts were similar.

Don't think Kat is pregnant, but if she was would he treat it like the alleged wedding? Seen surprise weddings before so it wasn't that shocking, but a surprise baby? Phil just casually posting a picture one day announcing Kat had a baby crosses a line into insanity. Don't think Phil could pass up 9 months of extreme begging but who knows. The only thing that can trump his greed is his paranoia.

A streamer having a baby is such prime donation bait there's no way he wouldn't be using it all the time. I've seen some serious amounts of cash thrown at people when they announce that.

I'd really be interested in seeing a "Phil gets an aquarium" saga. Imagine Phil's reaction for needing to evaluate water parameters, filtration, heating, plant supplements, feeding, etc.

Not strictly on-topic, but I just found out that the first 737 Max 8 plane was called the "Spirit of Renton". How appropriate for a plane that literally had bugged mechanics. :stress:
The autism vortex is powerful indeed.

Dave is setting up a green screen in August.
"My wife thinks its good idea SNORT so its about time that I set up a green screen dood "
in other words, he thinks setting up a green screen will get tons of donations and views (and maybe an excuse to skip work)
but instead of saying "I want to do this" he's passing the buck again
