This email exchange occurred right as Gamergate began (Zoe post was made 8/16/14) so she really can’t screech that the alt right and Bannon and Gamergate made her act like a cunt. Then again something like facts doesn’t matter to Wu or the mainstream press.

The Wu word of the day calendar made another appearance though. This time we got "tergiversation" which apparently means the same as equivocation. Also she invented another /r/thathappened story about an unnamed friend who worked at giant spacekat as an animator, but who also worked for another games company in Boston. In the story, the woman was working away in her office (welp, the story falls apart right there.) and all her male coworkers burst in an started ogling and catcalling two women who were playing volleyball in the courtyard below. I don't know how anyone can listen to Wu's stories and not immediately ask "did that really happen?" but apparently this guy managed it. They're the kind of thing you could only believe if you'd never worked in an office before in your life. In any case, the only animator Wu ever employed was Amanda Warner, and she'd never worked in the games industry before so, yeah, thathappened.

I can summarize Wu for you very easily: This is the thread I stopped following to cover ManJaw for the last few weeks, because they are so damn similar.

The main difference is Brianna used to be John, while Lynn only looks like she wasn't Lynn at the start. And John already got quasi-famous for successfully scamming people while playing the victim, whereas Lynn is trying hard to get that going right now.

It turns out the Capital One hacker was a tranny. You add in Chelsea Manning and it becomes pretty clear that, on a per capita basis at least, trannies are vastly over represented in the area of cyber crime. That's Brianna's area of expertise -- cybercrime that is, definitely not trannies. I wonder if we'll hear more from him on the topic?

See, this is legit fascinating, because as a Democrat, it shows Wu has learned nothing at all in 4 years. She's thrown her weight behind the least electable option for the Dems.

See, there's an argument for Sanders. Sanders is an insane ideological zealot with barely constrained rhetoric, but that might just be the thing to counter Trump, a fighting fire with fire approach.

Williamson reeks of limousine liberal, but that might legit work at a point where half the base regards themselves as galaxy brain elites who are too smart to vote right wing.

Biden and Delaney are both strong centrist options, who can provide a less extremist alternative to Dems who don't like Trump, but don't want to elect a goddamn commie maniac.

Warren? Warren is the exact problem that cost us the last election. She's Hillary 2.0, she's completely unelectable, the extremists don't feel she's extreme enough and the moderates feel she's too far left.

Regardless of which side you're on, the fact remains that in the last 4 years, many people have taken to heart that the last election was not a strong showing for us, and the Democratic party needs serious change to compete.

Wu? She's doing the same shit that had us watching her have a growing panic attack over the length of an evening, proudly declaring that "I'll be watching Hillary win!" and then slowly realizing that her brand of smug, milquetoast liberalism does not put asses in voting booths.
