Yo, question about archiving; considering how easy it is to inspect element text and modify it, does archive.is not take that into account? If it does, then I think about the only thing I can think of that's seemingly a sure fired way to have something absolutely undeniable is by using internet explorer, and taking pictures of a screen with a phone. Reason being that you CAN'T inspect element in IE. Unsure if you can inspect element on a phone, though.

When you do inspect element and modify it you're only modifying the copy you have locally on your machine, not the one on the server. The point about archiving is that you're saying 'a third party web crawler, not controlled by me, grabbed the website and timestamped the result'. It makes it harder for people to deny that something happened.

And if they edit or delete the site, you've still got proof it was up.

Screenshots are deniable because you could edit them with Photoshop.

Kiwi Farms likes archives more for the 'you can still see the insanity after the insane person decides to Delete Fucking Everything' reason than the lack of deniability though. Still in Yaniv's case the lack of deniability might lead to him getting arrested for pedophilia at some point, which will lead to loads of amusing chimp outs before he is hauled away to a man's prison.

Yeah, it's not very clear - in that post I linked to, it starts of as "...has initiated legal proceedings against me" but ends with a tort case merely being "threaten[ed]". If it's just being threatened then nothing has been filed yet. My reading was Oger views the C&D letter as initiating proceedings, even if it hasn't been followed up with actual proceedings yet.

This made me wonder. Twitter and FB all claim a lot of their report features are automated, as in no human is actually trying to judge the merits a program is. So does the program only look for “he/him” when a tweet it reported for “mis-gendering”?

How is the computer supposed to judge if the person is a he/she/they and so then what constitute misgendering? I’m going to guess 98% of the complaints come from crazy MTF troons so they just look for “he” as the language crime.

Can a cis man or woman complain of being misgendered or is it only bannable if a Troon complains? I swear to god every sane person on twitter should switch the gender to be the opposite of their profile and mass report all the misgendering just to fucking crash this stupid concept.

Women and men were called their opposite gender as a insult or mistake for years and Twitter never cared, but it institutes draconian rules to protect the feelings of a bunch of creeps in panties and wigs posting she-male porn.

There are several Jonathan Yanivs out there. One happens to be a commercial photographer/film guy. I’m sure Troon Jonathan wishes he had even .0001% of the success that others who share his name have had in life.
