This is the most retarded take of all. If it was a win for the defense, they wouldn't have ever opposed it. If it was a win, they would cheer it on, even if the plaintiff got some benefit from it. Plain and simple, this was a win for Ty. This was a loss for the defense. If they won this hearing, their likelihood of winning at TCPA goes up A LOT simply due to the fact that Ty and co. won't have nearly as much time to formulate their response. They know this. Greg knows this. Mike knows this. Every single one of them knows this, but they HAVE to spin. They can't accept even the smallest defeat, even though, under their premises that Vic's case IS a SLAPP, this small defeat is meaningless in the outcome of the case, because he's GOING to lose at TCPA.

I wouldn't be surprised if this had been offered previously and Ty was willing to accept it, but Lemoine is the one who tanked it. If one defense attorney fights it, then it doesn't matter what the others are willing to offer.

Lemoine is the Shane Holmberg of the defense. He's lying about everything, engaging in the same defamation, proving he's a childish, shiftyson of a bitch, and is in general a detriment to the other attorneys in the case. I said before that the only reason I think Chupp hasn't Riverdanced all over Sean's micropenis is because the relative professionalism from the other lawyers has been pretty solid; however, the opposite is also true and it's likely they're seeing Judge Chupp get pissed at Lemoine's antics, which will affect them as well.
