This road I grew up on is one surrounded by farm lands behind and around all the houses lining it. Some of the farms hold crops, others livestock. One day, a bull owned by another neighbor escaped from his field and attacked Ed who was working outside in his yard. Now, if you’re pretty citified, the most exposure you’ve had to bulls is probably the Spanish fighting ring and rodeos. You might even believe the clowns of the latter are more of a threat than a walking steak. So let me explain how a bull attacks someone: the one ton plus animal likes to body slam its target, which will knock said target to the ground nine times out of ten. Once the target is on the ground, the bull proceeds to continue to ram its head, body and front hooves into the target over and over and over until the target has no more bones. Needless to say, it takes awhile and is fatal.

Luckily for Ed (well, as much luck as he could have after somehow getting a bull mad at him**) a bull attack isn’t exactly silent and several neighbors heard what was happening and came running to help. From what I understand, they started shooting the bull. It wouldn’t stop. Neighbors had to keep escalating firepower before they were finally able to stop the beast. If I heard correctly, they started with a pistol, then tried a shotgun, finally someone had to use a high-powered rifle and even that took more than one shot.

Fucking city slickers and their dumb-ass disney fueled notions of animals. Next time one gets in the cage with harambe, let nature take its course and have the viral video teach these urban idiots a lesson.

Bob strikes me as the kind of person that claims to like something (TMNT comics in this case) but doesn't actually buy or read them. Like most SJWs, he'll fawn over this character, maybe buy an issue or 2 to post on Twitter, and then it will be completely forgotten.

6 months from now when the the character is killed off/the comic is cancelled, he'll blame dudebros and not himself for failing to support the woke thing he claims to want.

It should be noted, the following:

1. This is the second time the franchise has added a female Turtle (the notorious live action show from the 90s) and the first time was a massive miss and the character memory holed.

2. Turtles is a screwed up franchise with multiple comic and cartoon incarnations, all of which have fanbases that HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE each other.

3. Laird is ESPECIALLY hated by a huge portion of the fandom, due to large scale influence he's wielded over the franchise and it's directions.

In particular, Laird has stated unspeakable hatred towards the show's most famous incarnation: the 1987-1996 cartoon and fans who like it. His most notable act was banning the 00s series from using Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang; forcing them to adapt storylines from the Mirage comics as the framework for the 00s series; and then push some rather reviled ideas (such as all of the crap the series did to Shredder and his backstory, including revealing that the 00s Shredder was a Krang-type alien in a robot body just to shit on fans who complained about Krang's absence on the show). So if Laird hates something, then it doesn't carry any weight with fans because he hates everything that isn't the first 21 issues of the Mirage series.

4. The modern IDW comic is a clusterfuck in and of it's own right. It tries to ape multiple incarnations but failing miserably; it also suffers from allowing SJWs to do the art, resulting in one particular stretch of issues where the artist went rogue and drew all of the female characters butt-ugly in the name of "fighting societal beauty standards".

It's a huge clusterfuck and adding a female turtle is akin to when they "killed" Donatello off "for real" as far as stunt designed to try and get sales up for it.
