I wouldn't call it a backlash, but I think the popularity of "geek media" is mostly over. Capeshit has been beaten into the ground, TV shows that rely on shock deaths and references to keep viewers have gotten old, but most importantly, "geek" isn't cool anymore. Anime and manga being exceptions to that, but for the most part normies are going back to normie shit.

I mentioned this before in this thread, but we all know Bob is a moocher when it comes to current trends. Whenever is the next big thing popular in theaters, he’ll mooch off of it to death.

That was a fairly young bear. Once it got that deer, I'd be surprised if it didn't try to get the humans around to fuck off by charging them.

One thing I've hated about going from the country to the city is people going "Animals aren't dangerous..."

Fucking Disney and all the movies showing animals as noble peace loving "Oh, they rarely attack humans..." bullshit.

Of course, it is funny when some jogger gets eaten by a mountain lion.
