100% agree with all of this. Some of the activities/actions surrounding this whole thing have been worse than those "alpaca outta fuckin nowhere" moments. I came out of the shadow lurking, because it's been quite impressive how this whole thing has zigged and zagged where it had no reason to.

But by all means, keep it up Defendant's/their "allies". It's been a great mental exercise in the Art of Stupidity so far!

We'll have to see how they've set up the Barrymoore room in the Marriott, but it has a capacity of between 60-80 dependant on how it's being utilised.

The Marquis Hotel is a damn nice hotel, but its whether enough people turn out for Vic. Which I hope they do.


Mostly because compared to the Mall Ninja patrolled event in the comic shop there's absolutely zero chance of there being cross-contamination of the crowd shots. Every last person there won't have dropped in to grab a pack of cards or a comic and then got shit signed too because, why not?

I have said it repeatedly...reopen the mental institutions because these people cannot be allowed to destroy a functioning society just so their delusions can be accommodated.

Some of them were just mentally damaged to begin with and anime became reality for them. It's Vic, I think it's safe to say that he's going to pull in a whole hell of a lot of people- EASILLY triple anything that Monica could have ever scraped up at her little comic signing... that all of 20~30 people even went to. Especially seeing how it's such a good and busy area that's going to have a whole HELL of a lot of foot traffic in and around it.

I would say its the overlap of mental health and growing acceptance of political extremism. Basically if you have problems there's more an more places that will feed into that and indirectly (and directly) give you a place to channel that.

I'm surrounded by boomers who are socially isolated due to health issues. They are all anxiety riddled messes that don't understand reality.

While it is a mental health issue a cheaper solution might be to get people out of the shells they have created, rather than give them a pill regimen that props them up so they can function.

My point is that it isn't just young men that are having problems with isolation, it effects all age groups. Young men just get violent about it.
