Damn, guys. It's really raining today.......

I saw that Lisa Ortiz liked J. Michael Tantrum’s response to the Dallas Times article. This kind of hurts me because she’s my favorite anime voice actress:(
Not Amy Rose 😥

BTW J Michael Tatum addressed his little video of praising Vic in 2017. In fact he did that months ago

To be fair, some of these VA's may be siding with Kick Vic not because they support it, but because they don't want to be the next ones on the chopping block. This particularly applies to the male VA's.

This only applies to those VA's who are retweeting Kick Vic bullshit but not actually saying anything on their own and were not implicated in the depositions like Chris Sabat was.

Also, I feel very bad that this whole catastrophe is forcing Vic out of the industry.

I hope and pray that his lawsuit goes well for Vic.

Even if Vic doesn't return to the industry afterwards because of emotional or mental health reasons, at the very least he will have cleared his name and also take Funimation to the cleaners.

Marchi, Sabat, and Rial may force Vic out of the anime industry for good, but it will be a Pyrrhic Victory for them at best.

If they lose the lawsuit, then no company will touch them with a forty foot pole. Would you want to be known as one of the voice actors who committed libel and bankrupted a company.

He should've just stayed out of this instead of supporting Jamie because they do some horror podcast that he shills at conventions a lot. A friend of mine told me he would shill the podcast during his panels.
If anything I think Jamie may have him by the balls because she probably has some kind of dirt on him or he may be afraid that Jamie and Monica may come after him for whatever reason they can think of.
Then again Monica is second fiddle in the series they're both in and he almost always has a starring role. Soooo I hope he doesn't fall prey to Monica's game of crying wolf on people who get top billing.

They may also be sensing the competition is weak and could easily be shoved out of their niche. Funimation's open hatred of the people who buy its product has never been more obvious.

Not only that, Aniplex shares a parent company with Funimation. So far, they've been allowed to co-exist, but that could change. Showing that they're responsible business people who can do the job well (and avoid controversy) at the same time Funi is collapsing under its own hubris and dragging them into big messy lawsuits would probably benefit some of the people at Aniplex if heads start rolling at Funimation. And I don't think it takes a crystal ball to realize which way the wind is blowing.

I understand WHY they are doing it. However I also understand they are doing it to save their low paid part time jobs... and would could make more income by including the phrase "Would you like fries with that?" in a better employment situation.

Reality check: These 'people' are gutless cowards with careers in a dead end job. They arent going to be 'discovered' and suddenly have starring roles in Hollywood. They arent even near the top of the heap in their 'low paid part time carers.' Their 'fame' is in a niche market where only hardcore devotees in the fanbase even know their names. So why are they doing it?

Because they are human garbage with self opinions far beyond their actual worth and a very misplaced sense of their value in their industry.

Vic winning would also be a signal to other companies/cons that you cannot run a BS investigation and destroy someone's
life over allegations. The long-term consequences would be lose of fans, profit, and talent.

Oh sure. It's mighty convenient to fucking retcon a praise you gave by saying "Ooo but I WANTED to believe that he was great which why I said that!"
Fuck off and get AIDS with that horseshit, you wankstain.
Did he even call him to even talk to him about it like come on man? Where's the logic?
