Every email seems to point at her framing Vic, pushing people to remove Vic, and then pushing to be able to defame him on twitter or seek further punishment against him. Either she's getting emails from Sabat demanding she send out these emails to people, or something seriously pissed her off to trigger this single-minded vendetta against him this year. Like...maybe she made a pass at Vic at the Funimation Christmas party, having determined he had enough time post-break up with Michelle for it to be 'okay', and Vic was like "Whoa, Monica! So Monica's wanted his d for at least a decade, but he's been with Michelle. But then a year ago he breaks up with Michelle and now he's free. She's got Ron, but he's just a steady paycheck, not the chad best friend she's wanted for years. She waits an 'acceptable' amount of time before making a pass for real, and Vic politely but firmly friendzones her.

Bam. Monica's now a woman scorned. No one friendzones her, she's best girl! She's the main character, he's just the support characters! She plays Froppy, what MHA character does he voice? exactly! And Sabat and Schemmel who have always hated him are around during this time, as they're voicing for the Broly movie. They fuel her hate-on for him, and talk about how he's old, overrated, arrogant, and a bible-thumper, absolutely doesn't belong in the industry anyway but here he is stealing a top billing character he can't even voice properly anyway. If only those dumb fujoshi who hate him actually had any pull in the fandom he'd be kicked out and no longer their problem.

Most of the lolyers you see are cows in their own right and they joined because they smelled the scent of a controversy and wanted to up their clout and twitter follower count. They all don't know what they are talking about in this case and some of them are more of a laughing stock than others (See Akiva "Tweets using the computers at his job" Cohen)

Genuine question as this seems to be a recurring theme at this point. I see an endless parade of these cos thots complaining about men sexually harassing them at convention bars and raves. I have to ask. What is the point of dressing up like a skank and going to an alcohol fueled rave party if not to look for male sexual attention? I am trying to wrap my brain around just what sort of circuitry is fried in the brains of these women, and why they seem so hell bent on ruining the fun for everyone, including their fellow women who probably do want to cut loose for a weekend and engage in adult fun times.

The simplest answer is often the most likely. The reason they wear those outfits is because they are loose, breathable, and comfortable. It's the same reason men go without pants and shirts.

The problem is they don't care for the sexual attention they get from uninteresting men. Blame Darwin on that one since the men who propagate are the ones hyper focused on achieving it. This is also why "Manspreading" is an "issue." Women need to adopt a conservative dress style and body language to indicate their lack of interest in sexual or romantic encounters, but maintaining this style requires effort and is uncomfortable.

Hense why theres the apparently conflicting sentiments that women can dress as little as they want, but you aren't allowed to lust after them.

As for solutions... fuck if I have any. That's gonna take a massive compromise between the sexes as one side getting fully what they want would anger the other. But there is no one on this earth who could draft such a compromise.

The main thing that makes it believable to me is that one of Popehat's favorite things is mocking defamation lawsuits based on mean things said on the Internet. In fairness to Popehat and his sycophants, the vast majority of these cases are stupid and frivolous, so it's pretty easy to mock them; most of the time, you're gonna be right. The problem is that they seem to have missed that this case isn't a Brett Kimberlin situation, and are continuing to treat it like it is.

Some of the cos thots consluts were trying to find lawyers to agree with them because not even they were stupid enough to buy Shane's claims of having legal expertise and experience with contracts. Since Akiva's account is protected I can't really dig into it more. Dominique Skye found some comment that Akiva Cohen made (or had been telling him about the case prior to that and just clipped his response) and tweeted about it. Somebody is promising things to Monica to keep going. Being a spiteful bitch was enough to get her started. Vic was supposed to be out of the picture and it would blow over.

But Vic didn't roll over and die. Neither did his fans. So now she needs more incentive to put up with the abuse. Her co-conspirators need to sweeten the pot.

Somebody in round 2 could be using Funimations as a guniea pig on whether a TCPA motion would pass or fail. If it fails now then you can save a lot of effort by simply settling if you are in round 2.
