Missed most of the news section so I don't know how that went but the debate felt like classic killstream. I don't remember, Rand was pretty chill during the episode. That episode was mostly great thanks to really great guests and Gator being a very capable host.

Basically Dlive runs on a pseudo-cryptocurrency, but not one that needs mining. Basically, think poker chips at the casino, you exchange money for them and cash out when you are done. This has been used to attack dlive (by twitch parnters mind) but unless they change the rate of exchange, I don't actually see how the claims of scam are valid. Apparently Dlive's staff REALLY didn't like the allegation of coin miner, it's something their prospective partners need to know isn't a thing to apply.

That and the crypto lemons made people believe that there's a miner working in the background.

They both came off like speds, tbh. The Apollo guy looked worse because he spent half the show autistically screeching, but they were both armchair theologians with really half-assed takes. Having them on made for an amusing spectacle though.

I can obviously only speak for myself, but knowing who the guy doing the show really is kind of ruins it. A person's hot-takes decline sharply in listenability when you know that they've eaten a burger out of a trash can, and that's one of the least embarrassing/shitty things about the guy.
