Was it that hard to wrangle him though? Ralph muted him at one point, and when he was let back on seemed to have taken it ok, almost as if he's used to being told to shut up.

I watched the Flamenco live stream he did with Josh, and Flamenco didn't seem to have any problem keeping him in his box. Actually that stream was really good, Rand, Josh and that guy who did the Chris Chan documentary were all at the top of their game.
 
Actually a pretty good killstream tonight. Had no idea there was gonna be a debate before I clicked to dlive. Missed most of the news section so I don't know how that went but the debate felt like classic killstream. More shows like this, the comicsgate episode and the Boulderversary and I could be back watching at least a few times a week.

I just don't want to watch on dlive. I could more like afford a monthly subscription fee to a platform than could I afford some asshole website's crypto-miner burning out my hardware.

Is this based on something besides Jim making a crypto mining joke last year? Dlive runs perfectly fine.

I don't remember, Rand was pretty chill during the episode. That episode was mostly great thanks to really great guests and Gator being a very capable host.

Basically Dlive runs on a pseudo-cryptocurrency, but not one that needs mining. Basically, think poker chips at the casino, you exchange money for them and cash out when you are done. This has been used to attack dlive (by twitch parnters mind) but unless they change the rate of exchange, I don't actually see how the claims of scam are valid. Apparently Dlive's staff REALLY didn't like the allegation of coin miner, it's something their prospective partners need to know isn't a thing to apply.

When the Killstream was looking for a new home after getting banned from Youtube, the first stop was DLive. Back then the site was so utter garbage, that it was nearly impossible to watch and a lot of viewers reported on a higher than average strain on their systems.
That and the crypto lemons made people believe that there's a miner working in the background.

My machine, which is normally silent watching video and watching streams on YT and Stream Me, would turn into a jet engine when I kicked on a dlive stream.

They both came off like speds, tbh. The Apollo guy looked worse because he spent half the show autistically screeching, but they were both armchair theologians with really half-assed takes. Having them on made for an amusing spectacle though.

I can obviously only speak for myself, but knowing who the guy doing the show really is kind of ruins it. A person's hot-takes decline sharply in listenability when you know that they've eaten a burger out of a trash can, and that's one of the least embarrassing/shitty things about the guy.

They have an archive on bitchute, so you don't have to catch it live.
