It always seems to be 'I don't know Vic very well, but Monica and Jaime are MY FRIENDS', almost like they're biased and not in any position to make a fair and balanced analysis of the situation. Especially when most of Vic's actual friends either say nothing or are out in support of him. "Monica would NEVER lie about this" of course you'd think that. She's your friend. Vic also thought 'Sabat would NEVER spread vile rumors about me behind my back' or 'Monica would NEVER make up a horrible story about me', because they were his friends, too.
If you're going to crater your popularity getting involved in this stupid scandal while providing stale old 'believe women' crap that stopped being compelling in February, at least come at it from the perspective of knowing both of the parties equally. Someone who's actually Vic's friend thinking he'd do this kind of thing is what people care about, and why Monica and Jaime's accusations were so damaging to his reputation. "I don't know Vic but--" means "Nothing I say about his actions matters".
Maybe instead of him just 'reacting' because his friend said something and he instantly believes them, he should have thought. If he did, he'd see that Jaime and Monica's accusations are laughable and the only proof that exists weighs against their stories being true.
But apparently he believes fully that Monica froze fought went along with Vic kissing throwing pushing her onto the bed and then Stan showed up as she covered her face and ran to him in distress and noticed she looked distressed and asked if she was okay and then forgot it immediately.
She went on a campaign against Dragonball for a while, and I think might have shown up in the news before this for other feminist crazy campaigns she went on. I doubt this is Monica's sock. I do, however, note how she got this nerd cred and immediately cashed it in to ruin Vic with. I had people talking to me after kickvic blew up saying they were disappointed in Sean, but that they knew Monica would come in and support him. There's a reason why Vic and BHBH are more concerned about Monica than Hanleia and the other fujos that kicked up a fuss. Marzgurl is only really a target because she went out of her way to create the hashtag and used her connections to spread it.
Sean was caught committing TI at Kamehacon last year, which is probably the real reason he wasn't invited back this year. He got Peter Kelamis kicked from the convention, because of all Goku VAs he hates Peter especially. Peter leaked it right before Sean was 'surprise' announced, the fans blew up about it, and Peter was eventually invited back.
He's also known for melting down at fans. He once got in a fight at a forum and posted his paystub to try to 'own' a fan that was fighting with him, and he's nuked his twitter once or twice to clean up after he got into crying fits against his fans. Once with the Kamehacon thing, and once when Chris Sabat told him to suck it up and stop whining that people wanted to know when they'd hear him play Goku again.
I don't care what side you're on, if you call Steins;Gate a bad dub, you're mistaken.
