Dr. Rachel McKinnon / Dr. Veronica Ivy / Rhys McKinnon / Rachel Veronica McKinnon / Foxy Moxy / SportIsARight - failed out of a tenured job,man who competes in womens sports, gained like 100 lbs in 2022 (page 813), comically fell off bike before a race (page 830)

I don't think that there is that much money in track cycling.

Not sure how current this is given his recent tenure.
Also the COC is called the UOC on this state site.
A raise basically always comes along with tenure, but a small one that gives the feeling of a thumbs-up more than anything substantial.

:sigh:

I'm curious if that low salary is mostly from the humanities paying jack shit across the board, or if CoC also has low pay even for a small, student-centered school.

This is commensurate with the salary of my friends who are humanities professors at a large state university before they got tenure. Charleston is a significantly higher cost-of-living area than where my friends live.

Has Rhys ever discussed his immigration status? I'm guessing he must have a green card sponsored by College of Charleston; a work visa wouldn't seem to be sufficient for a professor who's ostensibly planning to spend his career in the US.

Rhys makes another allusion to having a romantic partner:

He makes it seem like he bought a house with another person but willingly opted out of having demonstrable legal ownership (ie, a title with his name on it), but I'd bet he's misrepresenting the situation. The person he lives with probably already owned the house before Rhys moved in, or they're renting from a third party. Or else "our home" refers to him and his roommate.

My Canadian academic buddies who took US jobs got more permanent sponsorships across the board, so yes, that assumption seems safe.

Looks like he did get a house.

I'm not sure what a front disc wheel is but shouldn't a world champion cyclist be able to get one? Or get one from the tons of sponsors that he totally has?

How strange he speaks of this when we were just speaking of it....

HI RHYS! You were born a man and you'll die mad, as a man.

Silly troon, doxing can't be stopped, only slowed down.

Also, only a sped would buy a house in someone else's name because they are scared of the internet. Legal ownership of the home is more important (if you're actually paying the mortgage), otherwise you are paying for someone else to accrue the equity with no guarantee that you can claim it later. If it is true he is a total fucking moron.

Eh there are (expensive) ways to get around it, such as buying a house under a Trust you are a beneficiary of, or having a Lien or Mortgage listed on the Title with a company you own.

That said, I thought most tenured/tenure-track professors usually get housing through the college.

but... why is he here in the first place, if he hates the USA as much as he claims to?

is this like claiming to hate cops while wearing the bitch button around your neck, so you can call them in a hot minute, every time somebody is a meanie?

he claims trendy lefty opinions, yet deliberately acts in the opposite manner.

for instance, he claims to care about racism-but pointedly chose to attain tenure at a school that is not racially representative for its area & never has been. CofC has only 8% African American students in a state/city that is 30% African American. why would a lefty want tenure there?

CofC is pretty well-known for this disparity, going all the way back to Reconstruction. its a sticky issue, part of their Jim Crow history. Surely rhys knows? yet we've never seen him mention it a single time.

he knew the shady racial history of CofC & threw a fit to demand inclusion anyway.

speaking of disparities, rhys, i asked earlier in the thread if any trans men have been awarded tenure anywhere, as so many trans women like you have been. legions of terves did the necessary homework & conclude: no. never. not once. no trans man with tenure that they can find.

if you know of a single one, speak up.

why do you think this disparity exists, rhys?
i mean, since you know everything you must know the answer.

Rhys seems like the kind of guy who'd move in with someone who bought a house with an inheritance and/or decent job, treat it like a cheap rental by wearing shoes inside and putting filthy hands on the walls, do crappy ugly DIY that brings the value down.

There's no way he's not on the deed of his own choosing. Shell corporations and trusts can be used to disguise property tax records of ownership. But what's the trans terror he's so scared of, anyway? How many trans academics have had horse heads left in their beds following doxing, or whatever?

And also, if he is indeed cohabiting in a romantic relationship, what kind of self-hating cipher would date him, much less live with him? Can you imagine having a partner who spews out the nonstop torrent of shite that is Rhys's Twitter? Or fucking living with someone with a persecution complex like Rhys's? Rhys's girl/boy friend has committed him or herself to being subsumed into The Rhys Show. All Rhys all the time. What a life. (:_(

There's no way he's not on the deed of his own choosing.
You said it, mang.

I wonder if he's tanked his credit. Maybe this explains the mystery "sponsorships," too. Usually sponsorships come from actively talking about the people sponsoring you, not keeping it to yourself who your sponsors are.

Picture this...
Rhys has a lovefriend he's so happy to be with, but who has a problem with Rhys's incessant spending on his expensive terrible hobby. Rhys knows the lovefriend wouldn't approve of his purchase of his seventh bike, so puts it on a secret credit card. Starts putting more purchases on secret credit cards, getting higher limits. Lovefriend notices new bikes and equipment starting to appear, gets concerned about money. Rhys says "oh, that old thing? My SPONSOR gave it to me!"

When they go in to buy a house together, Rhys has to bluff it and say he's terribly afraid of the transphobes, so that lovefriend will pat him on the head and say "there, there, dear, if it'll make you feel better, we won't sign this paper that would put your name in front of terves (and totally coincidentally require a credit check)."

True-blue narcissists, and I believe Rhys to be one, will happily make up awards and lie about accomplishments without a shred of truth. Fake sponsorship and endorsement deals (that he can never actually talk about, because sure, buddy, that's how that works) to cover up frivolous spending sounds par for the course.

Rhys repeats his rapey "genital preferences" spiel:

Which fucking fairy tale is this creature lives in? And why is it always the other party who has to change his or her genital preference for the troon, instead of the troon letting go "out of love"?

"PiV is boring as fuck anyway" -- new pearl of wisdom from Dr. McKinnon.

Even if people could control what kind of sex they find arousing, no one will subject their free will to make themselves aroused to you, Rhys.

This is old news and Rhys sure cannot come up with a new reply:

It seems the good news just keep coming:

You can criticize Trump from many fronts but his business acumen is never in doubt.
I postulate firing all trannies will increase productivity and improve office morale. Care to conduct a field test?

The message Boghossian quotes is from the NYT. California's new "ethnic studies" for K12 schools meets opposition from every ethnic groups (including the Jews) under the sun because they think they are not represented enough. Here is a even funnier passage from the article:

I dunno. The sex of the baby is determined by the sex chromosome carried by the sperm.
Maybe Standpoint Epistemology tells us that baby are created from patriarchy?

Turns out he spent 5 hours in the hair salon to dye his hair an even more ghastly shade of fuschia:

He is really filthy. Don't people take a bath before going to salons?

Absolutely degenerate. And why are all these "catgirls" so filthy when cats are known for their cleaniness?

I clicked through to the original Tweet when I saw this - zillions of responses from troons screaming "THAT'S NOT HOW BIOLOGY WORKS OMG!!!" "CIS PPL R STUPID!!!" etc etc. The sperm cake is silly but the basic idea is not wrong; I can't figure out what troons think the problem is. Maybe I should shut up and listen to "trans voices" on the topic so I can understand.
