Something I would like to note is that there is a slight discrepancy in the dates of her supposed "life-changing" event in which she experienced knee pain. The article says it was Halloween 2007 but her GoFundMe has it down as Halloween 2008.

What’s with these spoonies saying their pain is past the end of the pain scale? The universally accepted pain scale in the medical model ends at 10, period. Do they realize how blatantly stupid and unbelievable they are? Not to mention, the pain scale is an arbitrary fucking number range. So you want to say your pain is a 16/20? That’s the same thing as a 8/10 you fucking idiot. A 20/20? That’s a 10/10 and you’re still fucking lying. These brats make it worse for everyone else.

Doctors "giving up" is such a constant narrative for people who don't want to get better in the first place. And no shit hospital for 2 months made her worse. Anyone would feel shitty after 2 months of minimal movement and bedrest.

She mentions they wouldn't give her electroconvulsive therapy. Gee, I wonder why?

I'm in two minds about whether people who have fundraisers for medical needs should show receipts, but if she got the wheelchair surely the cost could be found online and checked against the amount she raised?
