They aren't bothered at all, actually. I imagine if there was SOLID proof of reincarnation, atheists would accept it. There is yet to be solid proof. There are many studies and articles that suggest that reincarnation does not exist as there are that reincarnation exists. You should really read articles from both sides, not just your own.

Yes, I do promote that belief, more or less, because I do not believe in reincarnation. I also don't think that it's irrational to believe there's no reincarnation, and that there is an eternal afterlife instead.

People can have different beliefs as to what the truth of a matter is.

However, when one examines the actual evidence and logic, one can see what the truth probably is. (In the case of what happens after death, you believe it's related to the work of Stevenson and Weiss, and a story of an alleged reincarnation of a WW2 pilot, as well as stuff you write, and you claim that the opposition has beliefs on par with the flat earth theory.)

Also, teachers can't teach reincarnation in public schools in the USA as fact because that would be illegal - a violation of the separation of church and state.

Finally, reincarnation isn't really an effective learning method, because one usually forgets their previous lives - it makes learning from mistakes rather difficult. So a more apt analogy would be that reincarnation is like going through the first grade, getting amnesia because one failed, and then repeating the first grade. Again and again. Why anyone would want to go through that, as well as the problems and limitations of mortal life over and over instead of moving on, is quite baffling to me, to be honest.

(By the way, I didn't come up with the first grade analogy myself. But I do believe it's apt.)

If Jesus was Christ, and was reincarnated, then technically wouldn't the next person he was reincarnated as be the "second coming"? This can't be you, because first you were Einstein! That means Einstein was one of the comings of Christ.
