Here is the stream that Nick did regarding Rooster Teeth.

Most of it is stuff I had figured would get sued. Since I'm not a lawyer, that leaves me ambivalent about how accurate it is.

A quick run down.
-Monica was employed by Rooster Teeth and might be in the same situation as Funimation.
-Miles Luna has tweeted "we know the real Vic Mignogna" and "I will speak up if my friends are being harassed on a daily basis." Since Miles is head writer and at one time director of their shows, this makes him a "vice principle." (He essentially had decision making power.
-Shannon McCormick's tweets about Vic being capped off with "I sign contracts with Rooster Teeth."
-Jen Brown retweeting the IO9 article and saying "He's guilty and please believe victims."
-Funimation could potentially have sent a message to Rooster Teeth saying "We have a lot of overlapping voice talent. You will hear that we are letting Vic go. We are just confirming that." That could be conspiracy depending on how the timeline is and what was said in the communications.
-Nick supposedly has a source from inside Rooster Teeth that suggests the voice actors all came forward at the same time to complain about Vic, lending to a conspiracy.

This is a few months out of date though. Recent information may contradict Nick's theorizing. Also we need not get into anything regarding Rooster Teeth until the TCPA is settled.

The point is that if discovery starts up again, Rooster Teeth is going to have a bunch of YouTubers and Kiwi's picking through their documents.
You missed the part where one of the people who was a higher up of RT talked to Vic and told him that they didn't believe the allegations and days later they immediately removed him

I was covering the topics covered in the stream. I was having enough difficulty remembering those. Unless that was in the stream and I didn't notice it.

Thank you for the back up.

So the whole gang got together to swap Vic stories on twitter today. They were talking projectors and fan films and this person explained what really happened between Todd and Vic.

Watch as this house of cards immediately falls apart with simple fact checking. This results in the story teller admitting that they heard about it second-hand.

What is 'the star trek fancy projector incident'? Is it the time Jennifer totally hurt herself that has been 100% debunked at all other points, or some other ridiculous projector-related lie?
Probably same shit Liartello pulled with Mari story and moved it into two separate years.

And I figured that having the debunks be in the OPs for the topics would evade the issue of digging through exploding threads. I guess I'm just not that concerned about consolidation, but I also think that consolidation may be unwieldy if the post turns out to be absolutely massive.
So you're going to just ignore the fact that a spoiler tag exists and can be used to condense a large post down so that it doesn't take up half a page? That's rich coming from WW's resident novel writer, you mong.

Also you should know by now that autism is commonplace here, m'lord. *tips fedora*

I'm unsure of this. I just don't know who should I look up to. To be honest, if Todd's lying, then that would explain Svetlana's answer to us about Vic's response about it.
You probably shouldn't look up to anyone who does the voice for japanese cartoons. There are people who have made much bigger contributions to society. Not saying you can't admire their work though.

To my recall, the "fancy projector incident" was an event in which Vic supposedly requested that a specific projector be bought just for his panel. I think it was posted in here a few pages back but can't seem to find it.

Star Trek Continues came out in mid-2013. Would he have even had a trailer ready to show in April 2012?

If the VA part is true, I’ll be really sad if only because Lindsay (Ruby Rose) and Kara (Weiss Schnee) are some of the few regular VAs that don’t regularly drive RWBY fans up the wall.

I doubt it. Did he ever show a trailer for Fullmetal Fantasy for that matter?

Either Lynn or her land whale friend mentioned Vic wanted some expensive projector in one of their usual twitter sperg sessions. It was posted on here somewhere, I'm just looking through the last couple pages to find it.

I believe FMF was shot in like one or two weekends, so I doubt he'd have a trailer. ST Continues was a more involved project; I think it had a trailer, but I can't imagine it would be ready that early.

WOW LOOKS LIKE DICK VAGINA CONFIRMED AS SEXUAL PREDATOR I GUESS, IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, AAAAGH, UHHH....FAK....NOT REALLY SURE BUT ANYWAYS YEAH THAT'S MY STORY!

The fuck is wrong with these grown-ass adults continuously engaging in this fucking rumor mill? If Vic is a sexual predator, then confront him. Because as of right now it looks like we either have a bunch of fucking liars or a bunch of fucking cowards who did and said nothing for years.

If Vic felt so strong a need for a special projector to show (something) that he'd supposedly demand it from the convention, it stands to reason he'd know that he'd need something fancy-doodly even before he came to the con. Thus - and considering the trouble these twits seemed determined to give him every year - he'd include it in his contractual demands.

If he demanded a new projector as part of his contract, then they'd best have bought him that if they signed it.

I'll look around for anything about that happening in 2012 cons he appeared at, but I doubt he'd have a trailer ready at that time. But let's say he did request this expensive projector for a moment, wouldn't that mean he'd require a similar projector at every convention he went to in 2012? I don't seem to recall him doing this in 2012 at the con I saw him at either.

Plus if any of these projector stories are true, I'd imagine he'd start hauling his own around seeing as his track record with projectors is god awful at this point.

I don't know why I didn't think of this until now. IIRC, convention staff doesn't have the power to ban people because they are mostly non-profit organizations that run events open to the public.
Yes and no, conventions are "members only" events that take place in spaces that the organization has paid for. Now, the membership "restrictions" are incredibly lax such that basically anyone can get a membership, but it is totally within rights for them to limit access to members. The result of this being that most anyone can attend an anime convention. "Banning" of a guest in this context basically translates to "we don't invite them". As I noted a long time ago, IF Vic wanted to buy his own badge and just walk around, the odds of anyone stopping him are practically zero. Now, if he wanted to plop down a table and sign autographs, they could stop that due to being a traffic hazard or any number of things, but if it's just "Vic is not a guest, but just bought a badge and is walking around" that's doable. Like if Mark Hamill just got really nutty and wanted to pay his own way to walk around a Star Wars con. He'd get mobbed as soon as he walked in the door and in that situation the con would almost certainly need to take steps to deal with the impact, but he could do it if he wanted.

For reference, "up and coming" voice actors sometimes do go to cons on their own dime. Either because they also watch anime and are just hanging out or they want to get a feel for things with hopes for the future. Technically, conventions can "revoke" membership (this is how people get kicked out) but you generally want the policy for why to be spelled out.

Also, a large number of conventions nowadays are NOT "non-profit", so that is entirely irrelevant to many of them

I'd assume it was for Todd of the Rings or something, but nope. They had to narrow it down to 'star trek thing' so it has to mean Star Trek Continues.

ETA: This is when and where the first STC Vignette debuted. There was PR and announcements before that, but the video was at Baltimore Shore Leave Convention in August.
