She-Ra and the Princess of Power - sjw bad animation reboot of shera

I'm glad Geena Davis gave a good performance.

I kinda wanna go watch the original series tho apparently Melendy Britt is supposedly anti-reboot or something because she told people to stop shitting on fans of the original?
Melendy Britt is outspoken on the issue of the fans of the original She-ra being constantly attacked. If DreamWorks and everyone else involved in NuShe-ra adopted a live and let live policy Britt would have been quiet on the matter.

This reminds me. Say what you will about the many flaws Voltron: Legendary Defender, you could at least say the crew had love for the source material and that they wanted to be there. With the She Ra crew, I have seen nothing but contempt or ignorance of the original show, as if the project was pushed on to them. Not exactly the kind of people you want for a reboot.

Afaik even the Voltron: Legendary Defender fans in spite of nearly being pure cancer seem to actually behave themselves with the original Voltron, its fandom and the general public. NuShe-Ra fandom however seems to be openly and aggressively hostile to the original, its fandom and the general public if they say the wrong thing within earshot.

The nuShe Ra fanbase being so defensive over every little thing I’d both frustrating and entertaining.

Well the nuShe-Ra fanbase is still a few orders of magnitude less defensive, and cuntish but full of shippers compared to the Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki fanbase. At least the NuShe-ra fandom would let you state a difference of opinion before going rabid.

When did Ghibli pop up in this discussion?

I'm following ClownfishTV on Twitter, and they retweeted this awesome redesign by @ArtyDemon on Twitter. It suffers from some triangle chins, but in total it looks leagues better than anything that the show could ever put out. The artist is only 18, too, which makes it even funnier that a literal teenager can make better designs than a college-educated professional character designer.

It's astounding how much just simple shading and lighting improves a drawing, let alone actually good designs.

Unsurprisingly they're getting quite a bit of hate from the usual suspects, saying that they've whitewashed characters, that they're sexualizing teenagers, and that they hate fat people and only want to draw bimbos. Thankfully it seems as though for every hate comment there's ten comments saying how much better their redesigns look and how much they like them.

At least someone cares to show how it's done.

I'm guessing sexualizing to these people means actually giving the females breasts.

So basically the RWBY fandom

Hey remember that one BTAS episode that had Adam West as a guest star and how one of the main points of said episode was "without this older campier show this newer show wouldn't exist? "
