Fukui is a ghost on his own forum. He knows how to play them. The inmates are happy enough right now with the keys to the kingdom being in the hands of the admins and mods.

The unrest that will unseat Fukui will either be a mod scandal or the frog being boiled by the userbase as they get more and more restless the daily ban quotas aren't being hit.

As more and more normies get permanently banned and fewer and fewer people sign up for the shithole to replace them the unrest will increase. Moderators and even admins will keep getting waves of the unhinged turning on them. They are Fukui's shield. He throws them to the wolves whilst he hides in the shadows.

They in turn absolutely hate the community they moderate and this keeps everyone unhappy. It's fantastic viewing. All down to one man wanting to capture Malka's money.

A sneaky Asian, but his legacy has been sold out for some short-term $. History will not remember this man kindly. He runs a forum that is more unpopular than aids.

During GG, Dan Olson, working on behalf of Crash Override Network, sought to score a "win" against GG, conspired with Laurelai Bailey to create a honeypot on 8chan (the /hebe/ board) with an attached IRC channel, allow it to attract the sort of content it naturally would, then allow Dan Olson to "find" it and report on it in an effort to get 8chan in trouble with its hosts.

EDiots managed to catch them in the act because Laurelai is a fucking dumbass (archives in the respective articles), and immediately leaked it to GG supporters. Despite the fact that the honeypot was revealed and that even if it was legit, it meant that Dan Olson downloaded child porn to frame a website, the maneuver was successful, at the time, at getting 8chan's crowdfunding cut off.

Meanwhile, their own inner circle included a rapist, a pedophile, and a man who sexually harassed two dozen women while working for an alleged anti-harassment taskforce.

Every news media site cites them and uses them as the basis for gauging gaming opinions. Investors, corporate execs, academics and laypeople (to gaming, wew) believe that nonsense.

I was browsing last night and noticed they had some thread about mediocre white actors. It was up to five or more pages when I checked in. People were complaining as that is obviously racist, but I guess it's the acceptable kind of racism for that forum.

I think the mods lost all credibility by letting it go on for so long (still not sure if it's not locked, I can't reach the site, getting errors from their CDN). Not that they care.
