Like others have said, I don't really see Desmond turning this around. I think he's way too deep into this and it's pretty much all he knows.
We are really in uncharted territory here, there's a bunch of these drag kids in the spotlight and we have no idea what happens when they hit 18.

Let's say the kid does turn out to be gay. And that he DOES indeed like playing dress up. Okay, fine.
