Yeah, queerness is sexual. That's why kids don't usually figure out they're gay until they hit puberty, even when it's a kid where his gayness is obvious to everyone around and they're very accepting. I knew a kid who, by age 10-12, I mean, EVERYONE knew. But the truth is, he didn't really know, because no one was forcing anything sexual on him, and until 17, he hadn't fallen in love, and wasn't sure if his crushes on boys had been about wanting to be with them or wanting to be them. At 17, he fell in love, with a boy, and realized it felt right and that he didn't think he'd ever felt anything romantic or sexual toward a girl.

The only kids developing "queer identities" before they hit puberty are the ones being pressured into it, or who have been abused in some fashion. Sexual abuse can include telling kids all kinds of oversharing shit about sex and sexuality, and many parents who would never go so far as Wendylou are still creating a climate of sexual abuse in order to generate a child whose identity they can go to bat for.

Minor powerlevel, but I'm a raging homo. And before the age of around 14 I didn't have the same reactions to my sexuality that Desmond has right now at 12.
When I was his age, I was far more worried that my parents could catch me playing GTA late at night or sneaking around to watch South Park on Saturdays nights. I just had some fantasies of marrying some girl and live well with her forever, nothing else.
It's very worrying for me to see kids in such spaces, obviously the LGBT community is sexual ffs, look at your local pride parade. These kids should be more worried of not confessing to their parents that they didn't pass a test than screaming a top their lungs that they are ''queer''. Parents should tell, if they are sure that their kiddies will be gay or bi, that is nothing wrong with them, they would love them the same, but here are your chores for the next day. I want to agree with you. But how old is Desmond, 12? Sure, some kids hit puberty later, but he looks like a bug-eyed Romanian gymnast. I just need to reiterate that I'm not as positive about Desmond snapping out of it later in life. I think if you put enough pressure on the mind of a child they just become what you want them to be. That's why African warlords love child soldiers, you can actually train them to like cannibalism and raping pregnant women.

I look at this differently than something like the Westboro Baptist Church kids splintering off, or other similar instances. The reason I say that is often if you have a deranged parent, they isolate you from society and what drives the kids away is the desire to be part of that society, in one form or another. The problem with Desmond is he appears to be extremely social and has not only his parents, but I would say the majority of the gay community as his friends and supporters. He feels the exact opposite of alone, during a time in his life when he probably should. This kid has no concept of how to build healthy relationships.
Being a kid is all about learning that shit on a small scale, and learning how to interact with people so you can tell the bad from the good. Desmond is going to grow up with no ability to tell good guys from bad guys.

So even if he were to figure out that his parents are fucked up, he would just run off to the gay village with all his friends. Right now, the entire ecosystem of his life is the absolute worst members of the LGBT community, with the tacit approval of the entire rest of the LGBT community.
And like I mentioned before, even if he wants to get out of it, then that very breakway will itself be politicized. He will be forced to give interviews about his ordeal and come out as an advocate against it. So imagine a 17 year old Desmond weighing all these options and deciding it will just be easier to stay the course. He won't be the only sexually-confused queer who self-medicates with drugs.

Disagree. It's important for people to say what is clear in situations like this. It's a given that people want things to work out well for him, but it's just not going to happen. We could flip a coin a hundred times and really want it to be heads everytime, but it's just not going to happen.

The whole reason situations like this are allowed to happen is that most people, even the ones that find it abhorrent, say things like "Well, it could turn out okay." Perhaps it is that people don't want to repeat the mistakes that happened with the gay rights movement and accept the troon rights movement without thinking.
And the fact that troons bring a lot of money to corporations make the trick. I made the cardinal mistake of sharing the video of Desmond’s Gwen Stefani routine through a link on Milo Yiannopoulas’ page and was immediately dog piled by (majority of them were cis straight SJW virtue signalers) that the site was “biased” and “meant to stir up hate.” I asked them several times to explain how is the actual video posted on the site is “fake news,” but they just kept repeating “this site is biased and meant to stir up hate” like a broken record.
