Someone told me that Vic was the one who approached Rooster Teeth to get a role in RWBY. Is this true? Because if it is, shame on Rooster Teeth for apparently knowing Vic's reputation, hiring him anyway, and then terminating him despite taking the risk anyway.
No, they approached Vic in a convention hotel in Australia, according to him. He tells the story here:

Again baffling how allegedly not signing alleged homo art = pedo!

Nick stated the other day all they had to do was spend $5/mo to find out. Any investigator worth their salt knows you have to spend a couple bucks too get intel sometimes. Unless, of course, they know they're talking out their ass.

I grew up with a man that liked to debate politics. Problem is he would jump to a straw man argument and go off on tangents.

He was what I would call a "street debater."

That's what these people are. Once you pin them down to one tooic or start holding them to standards they quickly fall apart.

I think that was their arrogance getting to them. They went "all in" with what was essentially "Social Justice: The Mecha Anime." Problem is Rooster Teeths stuff takes a season or two to find it's footing and they thought it would be a success right out of the gate.
EPIC TRAILER VOICE: "In a world... where Trump won the 2016 elections... one individual of irrelevant gender... one woke agenda..."
Wait where does he go off on a rant about Ty? I want to hear his idiocy on this point as it's likely hilariously stupid. The rest of the shit I don't care about. Too much of a sped to just shrug off some random joining the channel, but instead uses it as an idiotic gotcha and an out. Then proceeds to rant and cry about it after. What a sissy.
All I can say is it's in the first hour. But as I mentioned earlier, he was complaining about stuff like: Ty didn't prep Vic for deposition well enough; he should have coached Vic to say "I don't know" or "I don't recall" to shit that it could easily be proven he DID know and DID recall. (Because that made Toye look SO good in the eyes of the court. No. I'm not joking. That was literally his hot take.) Also, he bitched about Ty getting a continuance to go over the 500+ pages of documents the CPAP squad dumped on him at the last possible moment.

Literally "Ty has lost the case again!" Oh, but he's not KickVic, really guys, you just have to believe him! Honest!

I can't remember where I heard it but the union (the enemy) in genLock was supposed to be Grey Haddock's vision of America under Trump.

The 2016 election made that far too political.

So they rewrote it. What did we get?

-Black Man dating a white woman.
-Iranian Muslim woman.
-White Transgender implied to have gone back and forth several times.
-White teenager with self esteem issues.
-Japanese guy.

This group combined their efforts to destroy... The AI copy of the main black guy.

So. Minorities need to fear other minorities? Or "We're so woke but still lock our doors in 'black territory'"

He literally said this: Ty should have coached Vic to lie, and because he didn't Ty didn't prep Vic properly.

I remember seeing the episode where there’s an entire scene dedicated to explain how the Russian character was genderfluid, complete with namedropping the term.
The funniest part was the Japanese guy asking if the Russian was a guy or a girl; the delivery made it sound like the VA was genuinely confused.

What a retard. Vic lying during deposition would've fucked over his case and give the speds something legitimate to latch on to and attack.

"Why would he lie?"

"you would only do that if you have something to hide"

"see iswv? Your 'god' is not as innocent as you thought"

"because he lied about this, he definitely lied about not sexually assaulting anyone"

I guess they heard about what happened with Star Trek: Discovery just in-time.

And to think Gen Lock was there biggest flum up.
2019 happened. It makes you wonder if RT would be taking these Ls even without firing Vic.

IIRC, people were taking the piss out of RT when they announced Michael B. Jordan, Dakota Fanning, and David Tennant as VAs.

I feel like the only time somebody popular has gone political and it hasn’t blown up in their face is U2. And that’s just because Bono has been open about his politics for decades.

Wasn’t that supposed to be in some video game matrix or something? Where your game Persona being the gender you’re not is something as old as the internet itself?

They were on the internet. RT's vision of the internet in the future was "second life High resolution." Or that Futurama episode.

That'll probably be in Matrix 4. Lest we forget the Wachowski brothers trooned out.

By the way is anyone at Bubbacon keeping track of the exact fans that are showing up for Vic? Or how much money that translates to like the New York signing?

I'm guessing we already dealt with Neil Kaplan?

I was going through PULL and they found this just last week it seems. But since this tweet is archived that means the Farms grabbed it already.
