Pretty much anything posted on social media is to draw attention. You can draw attention to your new baby, a party, a cause... or how you’re the sickest little girl in the whole wide world. And she chose that one.

Did BlackWidow DFE before or after this post? Even if she's dfe'd, she'll be back on the same subs with a new name sometime soon. Should be possible to spot her. Only had a second to look, but her boyfriend is in one of her pics (he's in profile playing a game.) Clearly, she's been given vastly inappropriate amounts of pain meds at least earlier in her munchy timeline. Do they understand that their gastric problems and likely real current pain are virtually entirely due to opiates and in her case ED and laxative abuse, or do they actually believe their own nonsense? I think she talked positively about KF, perhaps she's already with us. I'll take a look around tonight.
Also, is it just me or is does it seem like people who use all the narcissist acronyms/lingo like GC-golden child and claim everyone around them is a narcissist or in the thrall of some narcissist are batshit cluster-b crazy-bombs? The lack of insight in her case both into her med issues and social issues is truly staggering.

After. She was still defending herself to me this morning and demanding to know what she could do to prove to me that she was really for realsies. Nothing, you've already shown you got your precious medical records with your coveted diagnoses on them by lying, doctor shopping, and chimping out whenever you didn't get what you wanted. That's all I need to know. And now the photos of her are documented so when she turns up on a new social media handle claiming she got diagnosed EDS on family history and GP based on her terrible GES where she retained 80% of the food after 60 hours, people can connect her back to her word vomit about how many doctors she had to scream at about her perfect test results before she found one greedy private doctor to give her questionable diagnoses.
My favourite part is she was diagnosed with a bunch of mental health and psychosomatic conditions from the start and admit to them, but then got them un-diagnosed by screeching at people... but never got an adequate explanation of her "seizures" et al because nothing ever showed up on a test. Almost like... they're psychosomatic. She made one post (got lost somewhere in the mess I made trying to make this post unfortunately) about how it's VERY COMMON for seizures to be "too deep" to show up on an EEG - another Chronically Jaquie Special.
And yeah, if everyone around you is a horrible abusive narcissist, you're inevitably the problem.

Since this girl made an account today just to claim she is different from all the other obnoxious munchies . The things she tags and partakes in is why she was brought up here and tbh she is the same as all the others but what stuck out here is she drug animal rights into her narrative by tagging cheetahs in the list of tags she has at the end

#DyingJessi’s been a bit sparse with updates, mostly brief stories about Atlas or SD sperging. She did make this post bragging about being so disgusting & unwilling to care for herself that a visitor had to wrestle for her life with Jessi’s trichoma.
#DJ‘s said this admission was for GI issues. What those were, aside from her constant imminent death, isn’t clear. She did at one point claim she was recovering from surgery (possibly to correct that incidental hiatal hernia she was so excited about, though munchie logic means “surgery” could‘ve been the scope they did which corrected her diagnosis from UC to Crohn’s). This latest post she’s added #pancreatitis, which true or not could buy her a longer stay at prestigious UCSF.

Gotta say, this diagnosis is so obscure I’d be tempted to buy it if anything about #DJ was even slightly internally consistent.
Secondary HLH is a rare complication mostly associated with acute EBV & Cancer, rare in children & even rarer in adults. #DJ claims she was diagnosed with a plethora of unspecified infections all brought on by Chronic EBV. “Chronic EBV” (actually called CAEBV) is so rare in adults it’s only really been gaining notice in the past 5 years or so. It definitely shows genetic & geographic links, with prevelance in North America skewing heavily into Asian & Native American populations.
Here’s a case study of a Chinese 19-year old with HLH secondary to CAEBV. A notable excerpt from it: The prognosis of adult patients with HPS is very poor. The median overall survival of patients with tumor-associated HPS was...22.8 months for patients with nontumor-associated HPS. #DJ seems to have spent almost a month just fucking about before heading to UCSF for treatment, which with that kind of prognosis seems odd. Why did they continue traveling to the opposite coast from everyone they know well? With 2 years to live, wouldn’t you want to be close to friends & family?
I can only assume that #DJ self-diagnosed with HLH after glomming on to the idea of chronic EBV at the unnamed Kansas woo clinic. I’ve yet to find any mention of a bone marrow biopsy, anyone else? Her 25m, 20-a-day non-temporal-lobe photosensitive epileptic seizures are now surely due to the HLH she’s “rapidly developing” from chronic EBV & co-infections which she’s just not sure which doctors are qualified to treat... since she is so consistently misdiagnosed.
Damn. I really wish I had time to make a timeline for this idiot, her claims are so outsized, contradictory, & subject to editing at any moment... while her GFM is now close to breaking $30k. Perhaps another intrepid Kiwi will adopt the project before it’s too late.

Yup, her totally real seizures made her shit the bed that her boyfriend's mom has to clean--are these girls too young to have seen Trainspotting? In terms of getting therapy in the UK, I have no personal knowledge of how that works within the NHS--but she could spend all the time she spends trying to get carers and bathtub lifts etc to instead try really hard to get mental health help. She could admit to all her enablers that she's struggling with these behaviors and idk sell the unneeded power chair to fund private psych help--even get an online video therapist app. She could get help for her addictions and mental health and it actually sounds like when challenged by you she acknowledged that she did have those problems.
These munchies need some sort of 12 step program and a handler that they're accountable to in order to step away from the crazy. She's probably already back online--the whole of her interaction besides being passive aggressive with her boyfriend's folks seems to be online.
I love reading the crazy these women spout, but it is just such a waste of all of their lives.
Did the pastel mermaid cat chick think that posting her life medical story on here was going to benefit her? Clearly, these people need to stop after they type dumb shit and walk (or roll) away for a few minutes before they click post.

I don’t give a fuck about them wasting their lives. If they weren’t faking sick they would be finding some other way to draw attention to themselves through deceit. I care about the resources, tax money, and blood products they waste, the fact that they make life more difficult for the genuinely sick and disabled by making a scene whenever someone questions their fake service dogs or by misrepresenting the disorders they claim to have such that those who have it seem like the fakers, and the doggo abuse (looking at you, Sarah-Jean). Just to name a few things.
The only good part is most of them don’t breed because it interferes with the tragic dying girl-child act. (Taylor who isn’t discussed here often is the exception. She is or at least was preggo but before that she had found an “out” to magically cure her diseases in dodgy $10000 stem cell treatments and was apparently backing away from her lies anyway. And autie but she had the kid before she had the fake diagnoses as far as I can tell...)

In all honesty, munchies are just a statistical blip on the radar. I love them, they're hilarious with their obsessions having a service dog and their toobz and their five hundred times they got sepsis. But they're pretty rare as patients. Wish they'd stop abusing dogs though (who the fuck names a dog Scrumpet?)
I'm currently working with some of the best researchers in the field to produce lifestyle intervention strategies to reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease. Cost of Alzheimer's to Medicaid gets into the seven figures per patient and it will almost certainly surpass CVD to become the number one cause of death in about 15 years.
Munchies pay back the cost of their medical treatment with lols, terminal POTS and end-stage hEDS. Alzheimer's is less sexy, definitely not a sick princess disease, and is likely going to destroy Medicaid. Not munchies. Keep on munchin' on.

Pretty fucking terrible from my side too. Patient you've been seeing for 5 years comes in, seems a bit confused, give a cognitive test, call their spouse to ask if he or she has been acting strangely recently.
Alzheimer's diagnosis. Talk to spouse, tell them about power of attorney, tell patient it's a progressive disease. Sit in my office charting while wondering what the hell their future will be.
Munchies don't seem to understand, like, the realities of medicine. They're fucking getting their toobz and their tricked-out wheelchairs and posting selfies on IG and laughing about everything. Being sick is fun!
How about slowly dying in a nursing home bed. Random weirdos come to visit you. They're your family but you can't recognize them. You have trouble recalling who you are anymore. Sometimes the nursing staff comes to feed you while you wait to die. That's reality.

I actually never thought about it from the doctors POV. One of the things I wish I had known before experiencing alzheimer's in family members was that they get so easily frustrated and that it can completely change their personality. Before that I thought it was just memory loss.

In all seriousness Alzheimer's honestly my fucking nightmare. If there's a genetic component, we got it on both sides of my family and I am 100% convinced I am fucked.
To change the subject back to The Funny, in all the commotion of the last few days I missed a Jonzie leak dispatch.
Big reveal is... she's bored. She continued to clog a hospital with her poopie problems. Tested for c. diff (negative). Brings up her traumatic childhood. (A few of the photos in this, you can see a video scroll bar at the bottom. They were originally videos but weren't embedding and the only thing moving in them was the stupid sticker things she added, so whatever, they're photos now.)
Claims her 'emotional support' cat is mimicking her. More likely took a picture of her cat doin' cat stuff and then found a cute way to wedge in a story about how sick she is.

I wonder if munchies cluster geographically and are significant enough to affect medical resource availability in some places. I know it's been mentioned that a bunch of these girls are in the same area in Florida, and I think there are a few near each other in Colorado?
It is good to hear that munchies aren't as common as you'd think from Instagram, but I will never not be pissed off about their use of IVIG. Seeing people like chroniczebra getting it and knowing its scarcity is enough to get me full-on Mad at the Internet.
It is Alzheimer's. Long-term use of anticholinergics (including Benadryl), as well as benzodiazepines is associated with increased risk of Alzheimer's. So all these girls taking Benadryl and Xanax is pretty horrifying.

Some of you here had expressed interest in this medcow so I thought I’d share that I finally posted it in the Detox/Homeopathy/Woo thread! Some of the munchies here (Ren, Court to name two) seek out doctors like these to do all sorts of unnecessary tests, like for Lyme, and “natural” treatments. Dr. Tisler isn’t a munchie herself but she has claimed a variety of diagnoses and syndromes including asthma, fibromyalgia, “leaky gut,” “adrenal fatigue,” CFS, thyroid nodules, Tourette’s/tardive dyskinesia (she said these were the same thing and she’s a psychiatrist), bipolar, GAD, PTSD, and probably others I’m forgetting. The psych shit (minus Tourette’s and TD) might be the only things she actually has besides a personality disorder. She might treat munchies but more likely will pass them off to other providers since they are difficult patients to treat and she doesn’t work with people with “bad energy.”

She's a heroin addict and OD'd a while back. Ohio passed a bill recently that people at a high risk of overdose (or their friends/family) can get a rescue kit prescribed.
edit: she claims she doesn't use anymore but leak-chan said she relapsed on fentanyl recently (and took a lot of xanax and stopped eating)
I have three (personal, possible but untested) explanations for Florida's munchie bubble.
1) The fact that Florida is really geared for senior citizens and disability aids are really easy to find. Every drug store from Pensacola to the Keys is going to sell wheelchairs, shower chairs, canes, and rollators, often pre-owned and very discounted in the first case, and anywhere you go you're going to find someone using those aids. There are super long waiting lists to get ground floor apartments in most towns that I am aware of because the elderly can't/don't want to get upstairs. You're just totally steeped in this culture of ... disabled, sick, dying people getting sympathy and better stuff (like in my complex, ground floor apartments have massive fenced-in patios with enough room to comfortably have a barbecue with your friends or put a little wading pool out for the kids, but top floor have tiny little balconies you can barely put a chair on – rent is the same either way. They prioritize renting the better units to the elderly because, by and large, they're better tenants who are respectful of the unit, pay their rent on time, and cause no problems.)
2) The proximity to low-tier medical schools in the caribbean and mexico. While not always the case these tend to be seen as "last resort" schools for people who can't get into Stanford or Johns Hopkins – or anywhere in the US. They might be great schools (I don't know) but they're not attracting the cream of the crop, if you will. In the very small number of cases I've been able to work out which doctors are treating the florida munchies, they've been out of Caribbean or Mexican schools. Now I haven't done a formal survey to see the ratio of Caribbean-to-Mainland schooling amongst Florida doctors, so it could just be that it has nothing to do with proximity and everything to do with the fact that they doctor shop until they find the unscrupulous physicians who happened to go to those schools.
3) DISNEY. Whether you want to or not, if you live in central Florida the mouse invades your life. A lot of the munchie crowd grew up in upscale suburbs of Orlando like Windermere and Winter Park – some of which are so close to Disney property that you can see the nightly fireworks from your house. There's two things I think are significant here: One is that Disney breeds a mentality of eternal childhood. There was an old ad campaign that showed adults regressing to childhood as soon as they passed through the gates. This conflicts with the fact that these girls have to grow up and be adults and makes them find a way out of that icky stuff.
The other disney theory is that there's not really statistically more munchies in Florida. It's just that the disney world photos they post (like their service dog giving Pluto kissies or them with all their toys posting in front of the castle) are more likely to go viral with the 'I won't grow up!" set, so more of them become high profile and are therefore seen by us.
