I feel bad because she could be telling the truth as much as she could be lying. But Zoe Quinn is type of person who hammers out a six page rape accusation because someone slighted her. For the "jamming fingers" part, I need a context and some details. If he fingered her out of nowhere violently, yeah, that's fucked. If they were playing sexual games, were drunk or whatever, and he misread the situation or didn't see he was hurting her, that's an entirely different situation. You don't throw accusations like that.

She decided to make it public, to throw a name under the bus, we're perfectly entitled to ask for more elements. Especially when she spent 6 pages writing about everything, but the actual "assault".

It's the same thing about Nathalie Lawhead and many of those gaming industry rape victim. One of the things that bothers me about Steam is that they feature those hacks on the games page with no way to turn it off without using one of the uglier views. The journalists know this and use it for clickbait. I doubt anyone believes articles like "Games wot I played this week" and "Top 5 gaming mustaches" have any place in an the news feed drowning out patch notes and update announcements.

It's exactly why social media lynch mob justice cannot replace due process. This sort of thing needs police reports and professional investigators, not a bunch of Twitter spergs and Listen & Believe journos. Now family members, friends, any children, and potential employers see his Internet history. He has nowhere to go. He is fucked. In the opening pages of Crash Override, Zoe alludes to Eron being an abusive boyfriend. She doesn't elaborate on this, just lays out vague details and sets a tone so the reader THINKS he did something terrible. She's pulling the same shit here, sowing the seeds to leave you with more questions than answers. It's very suspicious.

Also, let's be fair, the casting couch has been a thing for decades. I suspect with Weinstein people had mentioned it before but he was too politically powerful within Hollywood to do anything about.
