Oh I can see that being a thing easily. Months ago I said "I predict monica will throw ron under the bus and then metoo him for good measure". At this point, I am wondering if she really will.

I'm pretty sure that's after the divorce was finalized. She filed the restraining order out of fear of her safety so she could file a divorce. Which I think happened earlier that year, not 100% sure.

It was also dismissed "without prejudice to (ex wife)" which likely means it was a temporary thing and needed to be re-upped if she wanted to continue it.

But, after GTFO'ing I'm sure she wouldn't want to be in the same room as that lunatic again.

Dismissed without prejudice. So they basically just stopped interacting, and Ron's ex can come back and get it renewed if anything does come up.

It still looks like it lasted almost a year as well. Not sure the timeframe of the original restraining order, but I know locally here a temp order is 90 days, and can be extended if requested.

I've had to research into protective orders for various reasons.

So to summarize the past 72 hours; Soye got outed via court documents to be a creepy male-feminist (which we knew but nice to have it in writing). This development continues to bury KV 6 feet under, and Sabat's recent tweet antics is quickly becoming the cherry on top of this whole case - because, remember - Funimation tweeted about >NOT< condoning Harassment right? Yet they seem to be fine with one of their highest ranking figures calling customers autistic. It's almost like, Funimation was just lying with lip service and were desperately hoping all this would blow over in a month... didn't happen though, Funi, so DEAL WITH YOUR PEOPLE like the "business" you are. Oh, and Soye's shit coming to light doesn't make me empathize with Rial, Marchi, and the rest of the clowns. These people are malicious, and still have that pesky track-record of editing english dubs to push politics - they are still SJWs to be removed, if this cancerous rot on the industry is going to end.
