Monica Rial / Monica Jean Rial / Rialisms & Ron Toye / Ronald Toye III / rontoye3 - 5th Bulma and Ron "Pick Up the Phone or You'll Find Your Dog Dead When You Get Home" Toye

The observation rule and not making contact is a weird and nebulous thing though. It really is something you have to lurk and feel out. For someone who doesn't 'get it', JosephTX grabbing those docs would seem like the same thing as messaging those involved directly if you haven't seen this kind of thing on the internet before.
The best way I can describe it is like information gathering with a 2nd or 3rd degree of separation. Or you can be one of those idiots who yells at his TV but don't be the sped who emails the networks or actors that something in the show pissed you off.
Yeah I thankfully realized that pretty early on, though I can see why people might get confused with that. I started on the farms because I was interacting with someone who was a lolcow and made a thread about them, but I know now that some people would take issue with me doing that since I was already interacting with the cow and still do to this day. Turns out they already had an article about them under a different name, but you could tell from the art it was the same person. You kind of live and learn. Nowadays I probably wouldn't have made my original thread on him since it's kind of cringy.

Someone stated earlier that it might be her keeping this as a get out of jail free card. If they lose TCPA, she can try getting out of this with throwing ron under. If they win TCPA, she might believe she will get better career prospects and can ditch him later. Again just speculation

She has a free ticket she can take to get out of this shit and even gets to still be a victim.

I must be an asshole too then.
Right now I'm just wishing he was Asian. The jokes write themselves.

If he were Chinese he could just threaten to take her dog for a wok. "I meant on a REASH yeronner!"

I get that, but... why not do it now? I know, I know, Ron's still a useful idiot, but time's NOT on Monica's side. The longer she waits, the worse she'll look if she breaks it off with Ron "I smack hoes like I'm playing Whack-a-Mole" Toye.

Stephanie Sheh jumped in out of nowhere to kiss Soye's ass.

The Greeks gave the people of Troy a free wooden horsey!

I also find it highly unlikely that Ron would be completely honest and upfront about his history within completely new relationship.

There are only really a few scenarios in which I could see something like this coming up in conversation in much detail (say, apart from 'the ex was a bitch').

One of them being the ex reaching out to Monica to 'warn' her, which can easily be 'explained/turned' on the ex with a 'oh she so crazy, she'll say just about anything to ruin me'. If the exes did reach out, it would be very easy to see that as vindictive.

The other being she met him at a time when he was (required to?) going through counselling. Possibly court mandated? Which again can easily be 'explained' with something lkke the a above, though obviously with a lot more detail and manipulation.

Funimation. If she does it now while the TCPA is in the air, Funimation, who banked their TCPA heavily on Monica's affidavit, would get burned.

Best to get out when the damage is unavoidable. Better business relations that way.

I hadn't thought of that, but it makes a painful amount of sense.

Fair enough. I guess I was looking at it in an individual sense. Monica the person would benefit from getting the hell out of Dodge. Monica the brand wouldn't.

Would throwing Ron under the bus to save herself delay the case since Monica and Ron would both have to find new counsel?

They wouldn't get a new TCPA deadline in all likelihood. The court has pretty much had it with their shit and they've burned their freebies.

Nick actually objects to my actions.
Well thats why the radical left always grabs power. Very few people are willing to shove their own tactics back at them. Playing nice when your opponent is trying to destroy not only good people, but the very foundations of civilized society means holding your head high while they lop it off. And as history shows, eventually they do exactly that.

To be clear, I like Nick and think he's been the best culture warrior he can be. But I'm not going to lose sleep because a POS got his crap put online.

Putting aside the hypocrisy of when they mocked Vic supporters who shared their own positive experiences with the man, what's the endgoal of trying to paint Ron as a good guy with stuff like the laptop story?

If I give you my car for free right after I ploughed through a kid at 70 miles an hour, that doesn't balance out karma-wise. I'm genuinely wondering what Jamie and Stephanie's endgames are, beyond either maybe just fear that if no one helps back up Ron he'll punish Monica or a Dan Olson level of blind zeal to the cause.
