I'll delve a little into it, as it's something I've dealt with both first hand and on the side. Abusers use common tactics such as gaslighting and financial dominance in these situations. Not always is an abuser some cut jock, and sometimes they're the most unassuming and meek people. Their issues come forth when called on anything and the reason people defend them is because they dont expect it out of them. Sure, the reaction of "what do I do now?" Comes up, but it's due to that control being there for so long that it's hard for any victim to know a world without the control, how much better they can be.

In all, abusers go after their weakest point and exploit it into an unwinnable situation. This is why Soye coming out (not be his own devices) as an abuser didn't shock me, but was a good relevant light hit to let you know all his behavior has a pattern.

I think of all the parties not being sued, Amanda Winn Lee has been the most insufferable. If not in general, then at least of the anime industry people. Even if it's an issue important to her, she's such an obnoxious asshole to everyone. I gotta say after all the shit she talked to people on twitter at the beginning of this debacle it felt good to watch her cry over losing her role in Evangelion.

Yeah I gotta agree. Nick is addressing the fans and the culture around anime in general and each attack on the #metoo culture, it isn't about the lawsuit. It may apply, but at the end of the day it's about making a show and sending a message to the people who organize conventions.

Every one of these little industry clubs is like a refrigerator in an abandoned house. It can't be salvaged, and you duct tape that shit shut before throwing it into a dumpster, and you never, EVER open it because of the swarm of countless parasites birthed by beyond rotten meat will overtake everything in the area instantly.

Nah that was mainly due to law twitter obsessively stalking me the past couple weeks because they thought they found my dox and scared me into submission hence all those gay ass DMs they kept sending to my personal accounts so I provided them an oppotunity to
