Ok so,
A dude shows up at 4:30 in the morning, tries to break in.
Tim wakes up and calls the cops after spending a few minutes fiddling with lights.
The cops tell him they have someone else on dispatch and they caught the guy.
Cops come to Pool, tell him to get a gun and that the guy said he was a fan.
Also that he came from another state and crossed a non-pedestrian bridge.
Apparently Pool has footage that is too dark, but the audio is clear.
A couple hours later the guy comes back and tries to break in again.
As the guy tries break in again, Pool happens to be recording a video about the first one.
This is also all when the Minds live event is about to happen in a couple of days.
I’m going to put on some tinfoil here, something about this doesn’t sound right. I’ve never known cops to actively suggest getting a gun and I would think if they caught the guy that he would be under arrest. Especially if the guy supposedly tells him that he came from another state and crossed a bridge he technically shouldn’t as a pedestrian. While also making himself sound like a loon with a phrase like “Journalist Extraordinare Tim Pool”.
Another detail to note is that in his first account he says the noise woke him up. But he doesn’t mention his dog who is in the video and barks at something outside. Wouldn’t the dog have barked during the first attempt? Wouldn’t he mention the dog barking considering he went into detail about the lights? And isn’t it more likely that the dog’s barking would get him up more than the sound of a door’s latch getting fiddled with?
Actually, the guy wouldn’t have run off unless he thought he got caught. And the only indication of that would be someone noticing him or a dog barking.
Apparently a neighbor would have also woken up at 4:30 in the morning, in a suburb, before Pool, to the sound of a home invasion. I really fucking doubt that would happen, its possible but really unlikely.
And its REALLY coincidental that the guy comes back again during a recording about the first attempt.
I don’t buy it, maybe I’m missing something but this sounds off.
