I don't mean to put a downer on all of this but Viz potentially may have only kept Mignogna on to complete his dubbing for Rohan either as a contractual obligation or because finding a replacement in time was not worth the cost.

I recommend keeping an eye out on DIU's home release. They very well could possibly find someone else by then and dub over his lines like Sabat did with Burter in Dragon Ball Z. If nothing changes, there may still remain some hope.

Fair point. Best to be optimistic but also realistic about this. I can at least be thankful other companies are keeping their noses out of the drama and doing their jobs, rather than pick apart at it like vultures.

The ruling literally says TCPA doesn't apply in diversity cases in the Fifth Circuit, so it doesn't apply and Waid can't file it. Too bad for him he didn't file one when he had the chance.

Just speculating, but the easy way to get banned from a daycare center, is for it to be your kids daycare center. And to have the custodial parent file and receive a protective order against you. Especially during a nasty divorce. They don’t want the non custodial parent snatching the kid and running on their watch. (And the vast majority of “Amber Alerts” are this very scenario.) Didn’t someone point out that if Ron’s ex had moved to continue the protective order he would have been barred from all contact with the kid until the kid was an adult?

Of course we cannot rule out that that particular daycare center serviced the divorce court Judge’s kids. Whom Ron threatened to harm.

I been thinking about this too. Where is the money coming from? Neither of them have that deep pockets. They have 3 lawfirms involved. Ron supposedly paying a transcriber to transcribe many of Nick's videos. In addition they are somehow still financing a normal lifestyle. It would be incredibly stupid if Funi was doing this. That being said, every layer in this case when revealed, have shown some really mind-numbing and incredible levels of stupidity. So I can't actually take it off the table as an option. It may not even be directly, it could be funnelled through a third person/entity/source who would have access to Funi pockets.

Vic said he was offered a number of jobs, but couldn’t do them because he was in a state of depression. His role as Rohan had to be dubbed during February and March because Viz actually maintains its relationship when compared to *other* companies.

I will admit to knowing, very little about mortage companies, but it's somewhat possible. Even if he was now moved to a more low-key branch, he is still, the operations-manager of that branch. From the sound of those messages alone, even if he was luring with money, where would he get that money from without dipping into the company pockets without permission (I don't think he'd follow through with the offer in all honesty.) But the Tuttle group does have both Marchi's husband, and Ron as a part of the company. I believe Marchi's husband was the Tuttle group's junior Loan partner.

Sometimes, as you say, a cigar is just a cigar. I will be interested in seeing some of the financial things revealed eventually however. Perhaps one day, we'll know.
