Got another hot leak, straight from China:

Huh. Chrome armor.
So it’s either time travel or the extremely underused Stormtrooper captain chick is still alive. I’m willing to bet it’s the former since it’s a way more stupid plot development and therefore the one Disney is most likely to go with.

my dude, i do not think Lepin's line of Star Wnrs building blocks reflects Lego or Star Wars Disney canon.

How long till boomers just fucking die?
I mean, anyone with the slightest knowledge of how the Internet works knows that the Streisand effect is a VEEEEEEEEEEEERY real thing by now, and while its hilarous to see them self-immolating everytime they try to pull shit like this, it gets boring after the gazillionth time.

Fuck, I didn't even notice the difference.
I'm Lepin's prime customer. Make me a grandpa, give me light dementia and I'd be buying those fucking sets thinking I'm showering my grandkids with lego.
You never know, Disney has pulled some stupid moves before. I wouldn't put it past them if they thought of it at some point.
Time travel as a plot device set to save this poor, abused franchise seems pretty good if you view it from the standpoint of a panicking, angry that its cash-cow shit itself and died mouse. Unless they did it exclusively for nostalgia, the Millenium Falcon in the first trailer and in the leaked lego set has the old, round radar dish that got knocked off in Ep6, giving the retarded time travel theory more backing.

Mega Blok is better anyway. The articulated figures from the Halo series were badass as fuck. Like mini action figures!
Lego just keep making the same shitty little jaundiced midgets over and over.

Megabloks were okay, I had a lot of their medieval fantasy stuff because you could pick up little kits for just a few bucks instead of shelling out 20-30 bucks for a lego set. I might still have a bin full of golden and black knights somewhere...

Eh? Whats this thread about again?

Of all the people we have pissed off, from vexatiously Jewish lawyers like Akiva Cohen all the way to the government of New Zeeland, it may be fucking Legos who may finally pull the trigger on one of these bullshit DMCAs. Honk Honk

And yet they'll fail. As Null said, this is fair use, through and through.

I hope Disney lawyers serve Null with this.

@BigRuler No, just the opposite in fact.

Re: product leaks surreptitiously occurring ahead of their official release dates - Is the kiwi who posted them the original leak or just re-posting images from somewhere else on the internet? as if he'd tell. Would that make a difference to a lawsuit against the farms should the company assert him to be the original leak of stolen product images? The notice doesn't make that side of things clear. They've wasted time explaining who they are, what they do, and saying "take it off there" via a DMCA notice. If they decided to make an actual federal case out of it lol, what would be their legal basis?

Why do "stop copying us" corporate letters always begin with a long list of the company's history and intellectual property claims? Why don't they just skip to the point ("it has come to our attention that...")?
It's probably meant to intimidate whoever they're sending these things to by implying that they have a lot of money and are willing to use it against the recipient. Corporate dick-waving, basically.

Was Kiwi Farms the source of the leak? And if not, why do they care about Kiwi Farms and not wherever they were first posted?

I only ask because Kiwi Farms having the exclusive scoop on kids toys seems a bit odd, and I've not seen it mentioned. It's not as if it was a thread titled "Look at these Lego leaks!".
