It'll probably take a while for them to turn on Lemonhead. They've put a lot of stock in the notion that he's a genius super lawyer, Ty's a bumpkin, and Nick's a drunken lout. Any evidence to the contrary will probably be ignored or explained away up until he loses. Maybe if he gets sanctioned, or if it reaches the "all we need is the 3rd appeal to work" level, they'll question it a bit. Let's be honest, though: there's no way you could look at the TCPA filing and think this man has a grasp on how to present a case. Anyone who things that is probably delusional enough to stay on the ride for quite a while.

He's also a nice sanity check for the ISWV side. There's the old saw if you meet one asshole in the morning, then you've met an asshole. If everyone you meet is an asshole, you are the asshole. Johnson proves that Ty isn't the asshole.

If MoRon loses this case, there is one person I can say that screwed them (if they weren't screwed already):
Andrea Perez.

Here is my hypothetical scenario why:
MoRon talks with Casey and Perez about filing a TCPA.
Casey is not as experienced in that field.
Andrea Perez suggests Lemoine.
Why? because she knows about him because her boyfriend works at the same firm as Lemoine.
I firmly believe that the only reason why Lemon Fuhrer is in this case at all is that Perez hyped him up to MoRon and they bought her pitch.

Discount Lawyer also does not necessarily mean a bad lawyer either. Not everyone wants to work ridiculous hours as an associate in a big law firm where you start out as the next highest person's bitch and promotion just means you have to be someone else's bitch. Repeat that for years before MAYBE getting a shot at partner. Some people just want to stick their shingle out in a strip mall and make enough to pay the bill's and go on vacation once a year. That does not make them stupid. Hell you could make a strong argument for them being the smart ones.
