Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

From what Nick had said, these will get touched up very soon. Apparently there's a bunch of issues with filing electronically, and one of them is the creation of blank spaces.

Or something to that effect. It was early morning, and the explanation was muddied in between bouts of trying to caffeinate and trying to get back to my comfy pillow.

I thought they were blanks because those aren't labeled as exhibits yet. I.e., they'll be penciled in once the exhibit numbers are finalized?

But yeah, it looks like they were working right to the wire on this one. Chuck's paper was signed that morning, for example.

Did Law Twitter provide anything to back up their claim that Vic's representation's 1200-page TCPA response is malpractice?

My understanding is that in order to defeat a TCPA motion, the plaintiff has to show that there is enough evidence backing their initial claims that they have a reasonable chance of winning the lawsuit. That's how most anti-SLAPP statutes are supposed to work, anyway -- unless the plaintiff can prove that they're not filing a bullshit lawsuit intended to swamp the defendant in ruinously-expensive litigation, the lawsuit gets thrown out and the plaintiff has to pay the defendant's attorney's fees.

The burden of proof is on the plaintiff -- Vic. Vic's counsel has to prove to the court that they have enough evidence behind their claims that their case might succeed. IANAL, but this it seems that the plaintiff's best course of action here is to respond with as much evidence as possible. Whether all of the evidence will hold up to scrutiny is a lower priority at the moment. The evidence's validity, under these circumstances, is less important than its volume.

That's my understanding, anyway. Legal kiwis can probably explain it much better than I can.
I'd love to hear their arguments on why its malpractice, but I know I won't get those so

Just this because he filed past 1 AM

For anyone wondering though I guarantee you that even if Lemonfuhrer complains and tries to get sanctions like an amateur, Judge Chupps opinion will read as him saying He could dismiss the case and provide sanctions for an obviously hefty response that required an extension OR in the interest of justice he could let the case continue and rule on the TCPA, which he will then likely pick the latter and let the matter continue in the interest of justice.

I doubt they're gonna press it with the court. If they do, BHBH can pull up the record of the late Casey Erick electronic filing. For as cut throat I thought BHBH would be, the firm seems to picks it spots on what to complain about--more fair than I would have thought.

There is an editorial cartoon in this all: Someone spotlights a few shits on someone else's lawn. That person then shifts the spot light onto them, and there is a bigger pile of shit on their lawn.

there will be a transcript made of it, but we may end up finding out what whent down in the hearing as soon as sep 7th if nick is able to make it to the hearing like he plans to

Or Friday night, if Nick is in Texas with his computer, and doesnt boomer it up or forget something, we can get a stream about it then.

So I'm tired of this speculation. Will the court rule in favor of Ty, or the defendants? Is there a malpractice case against Ty? Are the defendant's lawyers due for sanction? I. Do not. Care. I just want to know the facts so I can appropriately judge both parties. Did Vic rape anyone? Doesn't seem like it. No kids came forward to pedophilia claims. But did Chris Sabat have a casting couch? Probably. It remains to be seen.

As I maintained since depositions, all of funimation should be burned to the ground. Clearly power caused corruption. Sabat is not innocent.

Salt the earth left behind. I want a clean slate. Vic probably is guilty of getting his winky wacked, but not illegally so. At best he banged those who are guilty of being thirsty thots. And that's not worth destroying a life.

Why not? It is plausible deniability for everyone involved. I have long suspected that the Tuttle group has their fingers inside Funimation THROUGH Ron Toye, and it is just a simple matter of following the money. Maybe Ron's Partner isn't as clean as he sees himself being?
That's it, someone in WW general tread pointed out this weird incestuous relationships, like Marchis cuck she's shaging menegment in Tuttle, Rial and Toye engaged, twins lived with Toye and one worked for Funny other for Tuttle, Sabat buying houses from Toye and leaving reviews, Chuck in his affidavit lamped together Sabat Shemmel and Toye.
Pepe Silvia this name keeps coming up over and over again.
Edit: and @OneHandClapping cougar'd me

Here's another general question(s): Is the hearing a one-day thing? Or could it last for several days? When are we likely to know the ruling?

I can't tell if Nick actually drew that or not, but it's great. XD I'm saving it. I love how annoyed the judge looks. XD If you did this, you should post it on Twitter.
I mean if your expecting a sketch from Nick , you will get something like this or worse .
